  Very disorganized and confusing. Waiting room is not air conditioned and very very interesting. Always crowded with people and smokes. Parking space is abundant.

  Main gate to the capital city of Riau islands province. Close to several parks in the city which are good places to hang out. Several monuments can be found. There are some "otak-otak" street vendors with affordable price

  Jetty upgrading construction in progress. Beware ferry porters will charge ridiculous price at tourists/foreigners for baggage transfer from ferry to jetty. Beware of pickpockets in town. Tourists do not walk alone.

  2 hours ferry ride to Singapore.
  I tried 2 company, Sindo and Magestic.
  Magestic ferry is more spacious. Both equally good, depends to the ferry timing i guess. Not much difference to me.
  Air conditioning on ferry i cold. Toilet is clean.
  Not much food options on ferry, cup noodles only and it runs out quick.
  Advice: Pack your own food.
  
  Huge difference compare to the Ferry Terminal in Tanah Merah, Singapore. Good new is they are building a new terminal.
  
  There is only 3 immigration counter, but at times only 2 officers will be available.
  
  There is no money changer here.
  There is no Uber either.
  I didn't see any sim card sold here either.
  
  I skip the toilet here and went on the ferry or the hotel, even the ferry's toilet is cleaner.
  
  IMPORTANT: (For Departure)
  1. Your need to pay IDR 13,000 per person for Terminal fee when you leave Indonesia.
  2. Don't go too early. Just 1 hour before the ferry depart.
  There is no air condition and not enough space to accommodate the crowd. Limited siting area. After immigration counter is immediately boarding the ferry.
