If you visit Sunyaragi Cave I suggest to use the local guide, because you will feel a different atmosphere when you know its history, very interesting.

Mysterious buildings made from sea corrals, the paths inside is so small, big guy will have a hard time navigate.
But it is fun, finding the path is like inside a maze, you follow a path you either find a dark tiny room, a dead end or finding a way to the top.
Folklore says that if you follow certain pattern in navigating the path, you'll be teleported to somewhere far away like to middle east holy places.
Aside from the building there are several attractions, like performance art theater (can be booked if there are enough audience.
Other like hop into the balloon to see scenery up above, bicycling on a rope, etc.
Other part, is the culinary building, comparably cheap, but not less tasty, with plenty of choices.
There also a souvenir shops.
If only they would fill the place with water, and utilise it as a pond, it would be great.

Place not so large, but it was more like corals, stones and caves. Caves are so small that only one or two person could fit. A bit hot around there. Entrance fee around 25000 Rupiah. Good for photos but don't stay too long here

Another place that you must visit, other than Keraton Kasepuhan. Super easy parking. It's a huge complex with so many places to take photos in. Some of the caves are pretty creepy and have passageway that lead nowhere. Best place to play hide-and-seek, just kidding. This is definitely a very historical location and definitely worth having a guide/friend to explain things to you. Pro-tip : Free iced tea, don't forget to collect it on your way out.

Visiting historical place is such a great experience and we had a great time visiting Sunyaragi Cave. The elements of the building, the sections, the rooms abd the story behind each room will make you curious and want to know more. It's located in the middle of big road, and surrounded by big field so we can have a calm time after going around the area. You should get a local guide to help you take photos and tell you the stories!

Sunyaragi Cave is a temple whose buildings are made of coral, a mountain-mounted cave building with underground connecting tunnels and a water channel.
The Sunyaragi Cave in Cirebon is not only interesting to visit, but also has many myths.
I arrived late afternoon, the best time to come here.
The shade of trees make the atmosphere around the cave was so very cool.

It's a man made cave, I didn't hire a local guide since its only short visit. This place is not so crowded, it has chambers and alleys inside a reeflike cave. It also has an ampitheatre for local and cultural performances. The place is clean, well maintained and considerably cheap entrance ticket. Overall, its a good tourist attraction.

Quite informative for the tour guide, you may need a tour guide if you really interest with history of this place since there are no additional info or else near the location. Parking area is vast and it have cheap price for ticket. A lot of photo spot at there.

Historic cave as the heritage of Kesultanan Cirebon.
Should be another restoration done to original onr, found several original architecture is already gone, i.e the pool surrounding caves has no water.
Government should take care this place seriously to attract more domestic tourist to come and foreign one for sure.
There is no map and written guidance of caves and history of the place around. Should be improved for better tourism Indonesia.

it's a water castle like taman sari in jogjakarta. we can enjoy the stone building and such a great view of sunset here.

only with 10k for entering this place, at least we can see a historical building which different from others.

Know the amazing Indonesian history from the guides! Best to come here between 3 PM - 4 PM when sun isn't too high. Entrance fee is IDR 10000 and guide fee is IDR 50000.

For ladies please don't use sports as its not allowed to go in with short, although the officer will borrow you like a sarong to cover it.

Best time to visit between 12.00 - 15.00 in August to see the clear sky. It's good if you walk around this site with guide so you know all info about the cave.

Great place with great guide. I just knew that to be a keraton, one should have Taman Sari first. It is well maintained and the guide is great. Better to visit here second week of the month because they have monthly dance show in the morning. And don't forget to bring hat, sunglasses, and drink. It's hot inside.

A lot of small caves, not recommended to explore the caves if you're a little claustrophobic

This place is awesome. I haven't seen a tourism site like this before. It feels like a mini labyrinth because you cannot really guess where you will show up if you follow that path. This place is pretty clean (even though the tourists are the ones who litter the place). I don't see a lot of tour guide here or maybe it's because of eid holiday. Anyway, it is highly recommended to visit this place!

Great historical place. This place (Goa mean cave in English) is a retreat place for ancient Cirebon King. From tour guide, Sunyaragi word consists of sunya/sunyi (mean silent in English), and ragi/raga (mean body & soil). Meaning this is the place for King to retreat and bring refreshing to his body & soul. A lot of story.

The site has been renovated (used to be coral reef taken from the sea, now only cement), but still interesting to take picture at.

Tips:
- hire guide (as wherever historical site across Indonesia), to understand the history, value, and interesting facts about this place. I can't remember how much is it, but definitely not expensive
- wear hat/bring umbrella, and bring water (you can buy from hawker outside the place) as this place is damn hot!

it's an historical place to visit. you can learn many things about history which is still related to Sunan Kali Jaga. Why do they call it "sunyaragi" Sunya is quiet, Ragi is soul. so this place is used to be a place for finding peace alone in a cave. people believe that they can go through to another places from that cave.
You can also can get a good spot for photo.

Hidden beauty are the best words to describe this cave. This cave is not a real cave which you could do caving, climbing, etc but more like an artificial cave made from cement and rocks. It was built from Cirebon sultanate and was purposed to be water castle. But now, there is no water there and there are some unused rooms which look like a cave. It is not too popular but very instagram-able.
