Have bluefire and thats just 2 on this world
Very good hiking experience. Steep trails but accessible. You will find a lot of locals offer a ride on two wheels trolley, but I don't recommend it unless you can't walk anymore. Just take a few minutes rest every time you're tired climbing. I hired a local guide but he did not share best spot for viewing or maybe he didn't understand my request. I don't think you need one, but you can go up to highest rim so you can see Mt. Raung and the crater at the same time. There is a viewing platform down there so you can see smoking yellow sulfur burning.
Very interesting place specially blue fire
Very challenging experience to see the blue fire. but it was worth it
Very worth to visit. Amazing landscape.
The place is very nice and interesting to explore especially the blue fire. The trail that leading you to the top of the mountain is very accessible, but going down the crater to see the blue fire was little dangerous and highly recommended to bring your own mask preferred the best one because you don't want to breath those nasty sulfur gas. Enjoy!
Very nice place with breathtaking view. The 'Blue Fire' is amazing, so does the sunrise up there
Beautiful. Bitchy when it's raining hard : slippery and the sulphur reacted with water can be toxic. Rent a gas mask if you wanna go to the crater in the rain.
Good road access, for locals the entrance fee is 5000 IDR (weekdays) and 7500 IDR (Holidays/weekend) for International Tourist, the Entrance fee is 100000 IDR. For camping, there's no any additional fee you should pay. The gate will open for hiking in 2:00 AM (GMT+7) which are the best time to see the magical 'blue fire' that rarely found in the world.
