They display collections from the dawn of javanese empire and reproduce ancient javanese manuscripts you can copy. It's an awesome place for cultural studies.

A spot for traditional archery practice. We call it jemparingan Mataram. A great place to learn central Java tradition related to their ancient stories in archery. The instructors are kind - helpful & friendly. You may join membership which is very very cheap. Only 50.000/month & 50.000 for admission fee. That way you can even come daily for practice. And that's for unlimited time. They also hold monthly tournament for the advanced archerer.

So historical banget. Ini tempat dimana kita bisa menikmati kebudayaan. Ya tergantung lagi ada acara apa enggak sih. Buat pecinta budaya kapan kapan coba kesini deh. Meskipun aku nggak ngerti sepenuhnya bahasa yang dipake, tapi setidaknya ngerti jalan ceritanya. Keren sih, lope lope ❤

gedung wayang orang sriwedari cukup luas,bisa menampung kurang lebih seribu orang. terdiri dari dua lantai. panggungnya pun cukup megah dan luas.

An amazing way to experience “Wayang Orang” in Solo.. a bit sad how these cultural gems are not being taken care of by the government. Expect it to be really hot in there, with tickets ranging from IDR 5000 to IDR 10,000 and shows changing every night.

Too bad, I found nothing to see in this place except a joglo at the centre of the place and the building debris beside the joglo. I don't know if this place is under construction or something, but I really expect something more from this place.

Historical place, yet nothing to see in this place. Litters everywhere. Better to enjoy wedang jahe or ronde when in the front gate of the park. Pretty yummy and cheap.

THR Sriwedari provides so many entertainments just like THR in many other countries such as Surabaya. The entrance ticket is IDR 13.000, if you want to enjoy the amusement park, you need to pay more for the tickets, such as bumping car, ghost house, roller coaster etc. IDR 7.000 for each game. If you don't feel like it, dangdut music is available as well. It opens up to 11pm.

As one of the Major Public Parks in Surakarta, Taman Sriwedari could be improvised. The pedestrian path along Jl. Slamet Riyadi and amenities was perfect, but once enter park area, theres lot of discomfort. It range from cleanliness to vandalism problem. Inside, there's also no clear walkway path, so it's like wander around. The amusement park was fine and better option when visiting here. Got here on Saturday morning, not sure about Sunday Morning when Car-Free day time.
