Superb!!! As its name, safari park lets wild animal loose in the park. You can see them directly from your car window. Some friendly animal like deer can be feed in feeding zone from your car. The have animal like elephant, many kind of buffalo, birds, hippo, up to lion, bear, and tiger. Besides it the also have many playground, like dolphin show, water games, bird attraction and the most famous one, giant panda. The panda palace is located uphill which is only accesible by shuttle bus. The panda palace is equipped with many facilities like food court, souvenir shop. Overall it was a wonderful experience and my family loves is so much.

    Very well maintained excellent place,
    Tips
    1. Try to hire a car for the safari.
    2. On the way to safari you will find lot of shops selling carrot, buy them if are interested in feeding the animals.
    3. At the entry you will be given a map of place, go through it for show timings.
    4. Don't miss the panda place, as it is located in top of the mountain.

This is one of two Safari Parks in Java Island, if not in Indonesia (I'm not quite sure), and it is beautiful. It is such a wonderful destination for family holidays. The animals that live here range from small rodents to menacing bears to majestic lions. Other than the safari park itself (where visitors can watch animals in their habitats), the Park also consists of numerous attractions, with animal shows throughout the day. The shows include, but are not limited to, a dolphin show, a bird show, and a panda show.

Second to none. Very professional and making visitors convenient by allowing vehicles to enter the main zone of the park. Going there for 10 times in my life doesn't feel boring so far. The air and the restaurants are the main selling points for me. And the best attraction subjectively is "bird of pray" no Borders between the birds and the visitors. Even we can feel the blowing wind of the big birds flying closely above us.

    Great day
Went there with my children. Not that far from Jakarta by car.
It was fun and tiring day. We enjoyed seeing the animals walking around our car. Had carrots and bananas bought for animals. Kids enjoyed the park's attractions too. Rode camel, elephant, watched sea lions shows, tiger, lion shows, birds shows and many more.
Will surely come back to visit again next time. Might have to stay in the safari park to enjoy the water attraction.

Hewannya semakin sedikit, namun wahana bermain bertambah.

I came here 2 days ago for a school trip. It was really fun before it's raining. The options for indoor games are limited and some of them are not included in the ticket, so we have to pay more. Otherwise, when it's raining, nothing much activities to do. So, choose the visit time wisely.
The food and merchandise are a little bit expensive. So, better pack our own lunch and snack.
But, it's a fun place for school trip or family vacation. I visit this place twice this year and it's still exciting!

A very recommended place to spend your weekend with family. Our son really had a good time here, especially during the Safari Journey with lots of animals to interact with and feed them with carrots. Our favorites are the magnificent & beautiful Siberian Tiger (though you cannot feed them of course) and the tall giraffe (they're really tall!!).
Don't miss the Cowboy Show & Panda Castle, by the way. The Cowboy Show is really entertaining, though I'm not sure if they have more than just one story line. The Panda Castle is not just about the famed Panda, they're idle and sleeping most of the time anyway, but the place and the accompanying animals are also very nice.
Suggestion: avoid going here on the rainy season. It will ruin the whole experience.
Overall, worth the money and effort to reach this place.

This place is really amazing. Clean and the animals are free to roam around. There is the aviary where the birds are free and baby zoo where you can take pics with a lion and a white tiger, there is the place for reptiles, komodo and penguin, panda castle, and playing ground. There are animals shows as well. There is also a waterfall and trekking area. You need to stay at least one day in the hotel nearby to be able to experience them all.

Provide wildlife education, fresh air, hotel (one of the hotels provide a wild forest theme - wow - chill up) , amusement park, live show, and another stuff to enjoy.
On the trail, first you can enjoy the view of the herbivore animals, you can even handed them a carrot while looking at their adorable cute face. Second you'll enter the "close your windows (windshield???) Section' where the carnivore animals is walking around or just too lazy to walk. Still, looking at them at that distance is really a experience of an excitement.
There is a night safari where you can enjoy most of the place excitement at night.
There is an elephants wondering on the road, of course you can ride them if you want.
This place is great at Mixing the educational place with fun, it's enjoyable on many ways.
Its a Recommended place. Oh. And don't forget to take a picture with adorable baby tiger.

Great tourist destination, even great for locals. Its an open roaming zoo. Buy some carrotts from the locals on your way up, you can feed the animals from your car. You wont be able to exit the park once you enter.

Have so much fun here! Especially enjoy the animal regions; however the amusement park area is not that attracting at all. The entrance fee is quiet expensive and it included the fee of amusement park which is very disappointing. The food here is of common quality but high price! Don't forget to bring some snacks by yourself!

If you plan visiting the place as a tourist, don't get there by taxi and do get there early! There is two ''Taman safari'' that might show up on your map. One is their office so don't get confuse.
This being said, safari is really worth it and it's not that expensive! Great time there!

A good visit with children. Shows don't change too often, seemed exactly the same as my last trip several years ago but kids still enjoyed them.

Souvenirs are pretty good at affordable prices and those bought several years ago have lasted well. Food prices are also reasonable with little difference to prices outside of the park and decent quality for local dishes.

The special events that you can pay for make the whole visit that much better. I had my kids feed the penguins for Rp. 100k each and they loved the close-up interaction.

My only complaint is the rides. When you buy a set of ride tickets the rules for using them don't make sense. You get ten rides per purchase but for small children there aren't enough rides to use all that you pay for as you can only ride each attraction once. It's like paying for a buffet meal but not being allowed to get a second portion of the same item. This should be changed as most rides were not busy with probably 80% empty seats. Just allow the kids to ride what they want.

The other problem is that several rides were unattended with signs saying they were closed for 15 minutes. However frequent visits over almost two hours did not find the attendant present at all. If the rides are broken it would be better to simply be honest about it. If the attendants are simply not doing their job the management needs to do something to resolve the issues.

Tickets are priced ok but every attraction should be included. Good atmosphere. The schedules of the shows need to be rearranged because the current arrangement doesn't let the guests experience all the shows in one day. They overlap each other. They need to be scheduled following the order of the closest site next to each other because places are far away. The waterfall is a bit dirty, need someone to clean the area. I found a hair clip in the pond.

Great zoo where my kids can see from close up and even touching animals. They have decent variety of animals in a very good condition.

Could be 5 stars if they manage the shows more professionally (single entrance &exit, so crowded). Also it was a little annoying when the rain comes, because you have to purchase plastic raincoat and umbrella way above their normal price.

The ticket is expensive but it include 24 rides and animal shows. Over all its a very nice place to spend the day with family. Give it 5 star!!

This is a really good destination, international class in many ways. It is such a shame it is a nightmare to get there due to the colonial-era Puncak road, but if you are in Jakarta, book a night nearby and have fun. The range of attractions is vast, kids adore it. Just allow hours of the worst imaginable traffic to get there and to get back.

Taman Safari provides a closer experience to interact with animal by driving your own car through the park. The traffic may be rush but it went smooth. You would find deer, llama, and even hippo crossing the road and wandering near your car. Don’t miss the chance to feed them through your side window. They would happily come closer and wait for the foods. A wide open hippo mouth was like National Geography documentary come to life!

Really nice place to visit. There are many things to enjoy in side the safari. For some sections you have pay again if you want to enjoy them. For foreigners they charged double when we compare with local tickets price. It was around $25 USD. You may enjoy the nature when you go in.

The perfect place for weekend getaway with kids. Well maintained park, healthy animal. The ticket price also already include free rides that most of them suitable for kids.

    Tips :
    - Come early in the morning as Puncak traffic on weekend can be very bad

    - Weekend visit is better as more shows are available than weekdays. Cowboy show is one you can't miss

    - For better experience during safari trip, buy. carrots from local shops after you turn left from Jalan Raya Puncak. They are cheap and more suitable to feed the animals as all of the carrot still have long leaves.

Not to mentioned all the attractions offered are all for FREE; starting from elephant show, tiger show, otter show, orang utan show, sealion show, birds show and the most awaited attraction as always cowboy show.

The place also offered photo-shoot with some trained wildlife animals thus baby zoo, waterfall and more.

GREAT PLACE TO WORK, TO LEARN AND TO HAVE HOLIDAY!
Truly a wonderful to explore nature. The weather is amazing, a bit drizzle won't bother you I suppose.
Try to be there with your family, learn a lot of things about animals and how they're taken care by the keeper, enjoy the rides, spend the night also in the hotel (they have caravan style hotel, lodge, and villa), and wake up in the morning with the fragrance of wet pine trees. And if you're lucky, ask the management to have a back of the house tour, you will never be dissappointed.

Great place to visit with family and friends, nice weather, mountain climate usually between 22 - 26 degC in daytime.but the the way to reach there from Jakarta is exhausting because only 1 way through Puncak, narrow road and extremely heavy traffic in weekend/public holiday, try to check in wekdays for less crowd. The inside transportation could use own car or Safari Train ( long tourism vehicle) for IDR 20K all day.

A shame that a national park is about to dope an animal to be photos taken with a lion. Animals should be in their natural environments and not being doped and suffering all colateriais effects of this cruelty. And the worst are tourists who pay for it. End of cruelty to animals. To connive tourists with crime against animals. Terezinha Vendramini, São Paulo, Brazil
