all i remember that, this landscape used to be football stadium & also boarding athlete (Persija) & however they sold the land or returned the land (I'm not sure which one) to Pemprov DKI & been so many years this landscape was being abandoned then Pemprov DKI demolished the buildings & made it to what we called now, "Taman Menteng" futsal field, basketball court, volley court, green house etc. & I think Taman Menteng is the pioneer park in Jakarta. Do not get confused with "Taman Kodok" because the actual Taman Kodok is located behind Taman Menteng.

Nice place for sit but need clean and mostly too much grab people sit and stare u like ur not allowed. Seats little for sit, cycling seller will disturb lot.. Not much fan..

Taman yg bagus utk rekreasi keluarga maupun berolahraga. Ada 2 lapangan sepakbola yg bisa disewakan utk umum disini. Ada permainan utk anak. Pemandangan bagus. Recomended park for you👍

Malam-malam mau istirahat atau small talk sambil menikmati udara luar, cucok banget kalau kesini. Duduk yang di deket area bermain anak, atau bisa juga sambil main ayunan. Ada juga lapangan yang bisa dipakai basket atau futsal. Beberapa tukang minuman juga kadang keliling menawarkan. Kalau mau jajanan versi “lebih murah” bisa ke bagian belakang yang dekat taman kodok. Tapi kalau yang lebih mid harganya bisa ke area kaki lima di sampingnya.

Everyone can used facilities in Taman Menteng for free.
Some unofficial merchant offer like coffee or cold drink.
If you want a bottle of drink, there is a merchant near green building ( I dont know what building is ).

Mid city small park. Nice greenery among hot Jakarta air.

You can play basketball, futsal or just stroll around. There is playground for children and few outdoor fitness machine.

There are 5 water fountain pond at corners of the park, adding freshness to the air

The trees are various infegenous type with proper signage on each.

A lot of potential but should be cleaner and better maintenance..

Good place to spend with your family. Easy to park and find place to eat or drink. You can Jog, Play futsal or basket ball, and kids can play with available swing and seesaw/teeter.

I love this place, it's a one stop place to stay and refresh yourself. it's not the end, you can play futsal and basketball here. the parking lot is also great. I recommended this place.

Great place to hangout, has a parking lot if you wish to bring your car or bike. Also has a basketball court if you want to play. All in all great place to just chill.

Good place to hang out, outdoor workout, playing football and basketball. Sometimes there's karate or roller blade practice here. Also sometimes some people do photoahoot near glasshouse or water fountain

I enjoy strolling around this place. The ambience is calm and nice. There are some restaurants nearby as well, and a small street that sell street foods. This is a good place if you just want to sit and have a chit chat with your friends, or when you simply want to enjoy the surroundings. This park is also easy to be reached.

One of a good park to hang out & do instagramming. Parks in Jakarta are either tiny, small or medium. This one's size is between small to medium. Thr size is definitely not 30 hectare as advetised. Give it a visit

A peaceful place to hang out in the center of Jakarta. Although it's not as big (or popular) as the nearby Taman Suropati, this place has quite a lot of things to offer - street foods, sport corners and occasional events of various kinds are available here

One of the best urban public space in Central Jakarta. There are many communities held weekly gathering in the park. The activities varied widely from Fa Lun Da Fa to orchestra. The neat, clean, and green surroundings; birds; fountain, create peaceful ambience as soon as you reach Taman Menteng.

Not a big fan of this park, quite nice actually. One of the earlier park with a good condition in Jakarta. Not a big fan because when I came here couple times and taking picture (what I usually do when I go to landmark) the security is came and "politely" ask for money. It actually happen before Jokowi became governor of Jakarta, maybe things change now.

Very nice park in the heart of Jakarta. A football ground, skate board ground and lot of bench to sit. And if you are hungry, the street food vendors of many kind of Indonesian foods are just next to it (night only).

Park is quiet and pretty. Good for doing photography here. At night near the park has a culinary gathering place beside Ibis Budget. Can try all kinds of local Indonesian food. Not far from Bulatan HI if you want to get to shopping malls.

Great place if you're outdoors person. I like having lunch here, even there's a traffic jam nearby. Its very suitable to just relax, without going too far away. This park actually has several public facilities to explore, like basket ball court and futsal arena. It's quite well maintained and cleaned regularly.

This is actually a very nice place to just relax or get some sweats. The perfect place to get lost in center of the city without literally being lost. The park provided a lot of facility to experience with; couple basket lawn, couple footsal arena, a set of gym machine, running lane, hundreds seats to rest, grass to lay on, and also the mobile library equipped with lots of books with free access to read.
