We had a lovely experience. I ordered the Mie Goreng - it was good! My husband had the crispy duck and overall it was a good choice. It is quite expensive but something you should try in Bali, right?

The crispy duck was reasonably good. If only the condiments could be more such as different chili flavors, then it would be great.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Bali so far. Angry duck had a lot of spices that you could taste and these two dishes were definitely enough to feed two very hungry guests. Ayam goreng was crispy and hit the fried chicken spot! A little bit pricier than some; but worth it! Between two we spent ~300k for two
Mains, four fresh juices and an appetiser.

Came for the duck Left disappointed, had the half angry duck accompanied by potatoe wedges and a tasty green bean side. Duck was all bones and quite small really. For the price of the main I would expect something a bit more substantial. On the plus service was good and we did enjoy a very good Arak cocktail so much so we ordered a second.
The place is quite pretty and the view of the valley at the back is beautiful. I just wish their specialty dish which is duck was better.

Beautiful views for dinner during sunset. You’ll be seated upstairs if the restaurant is not too crowded. The food is an excellent example of Balinese cuisine. The crispy fried duck is a specialty. Served as a half-duck with rice and veggies and traditional Balinese chilis.

We got their Chicken Noodle Soup, a play on Soto Ayam. What brought out the flavors were the Amed Salt, pepper and chili flakes served alongside our meal. The Amed salt is special to the salt-producing region. Salt crystals come from the ocean and are dried for 10 days, creating beautiful rectangular shapes. Enhances flavors so well.

We also ordered their Sate Ayam (Chicken barbecued on a stick) and their Cumi Cumi baker (barbecued squid) - both came with special chili sauce, a cone of rice shaped with banana leaf, sautéed veggies (bean sprouts and diced beans with coconut shavings,) and fresh cucumber and tomato slices.

Their fresh watermelon juice was delicious.
We paid with cash, not sure if they took credit card.

We went there for lunch and I would say the food was average. The such was really dry and the prawn curry was watery and the not very tasty.

This place is located along the coast of the eastern side of the island, we spent a few hours getting there on our scooter and battling rain and steep hills. In the end it was all worth it. The food here is made to a high standard and full of authentic flavours, the place is modern and a great view from the top level. Highly recommend the angry crispy duck dish.

The sevice was great and the food was equally good. Of course you have to get the crispy duck but we also got the BBQ barracuda. Both were excellent.

Loved the food especially the crispy duck. The best address for the food while you are in Amed. Thanks Gorra (our Indonesian friend) for the recommendation. Komang, the owner was also really friendly.

Wow. First off, the food is exceptional. And I mean, exceptional.
We both had the crispy duck salad and split a tropical fruit crepe with ice cream. But that wasn't the best part.
Our server and now friend, Mono, made our evening/trip. We spoke for hours about life and our journies. He is only 23 but was so full of passion, positive energy and wisdom it changed us.
I cannot speak highly enough of the experience we received and left feeling full of more than just food.
It was a night to remember and we will never forget it.
Thank you Crispy Duck House for making our stay in Amed that much better.
