Love this green place! It's so funny when you bring some snacks and the deers comes closer to you and wants to eat your snack. When you move to other place the deers are gonna follow you anywhere you go! 😝

They've got some tamed sweet deers and swans freely roaming in the park. Feeding and interacting with them was the greatest experience to make, so don't forget to bring some food for them.

Nice place for gathering and it's suitable for bringing your kids here. They can see various animals, "becak air" and also enjoying the Javanese traditional ballet in certain dates.

Nice place for hanging out with friends Nice green environment with a lot of big trees and they also have deers, monkeys living there free (not in cage). The only cons is Sometimes you will spot some couples doing romance things which bother me the most.

It's a very calm and beautiful park. There is a lake located in the middle of the park. You can also do some fishing in the lake. The park is child friendly, I would suggest you to come on Saturday or Sunday, because mostly it's more crowded and there are a lot of activities done on the weekends. For example, there is a painting course for children on weekends. Also there is a mini reptile zoo, and a swimming pool. It's a very good place to have a date, picnic or just to have some peace. If you prefer to have more quite situation, I would suggest you to go on the weekdays. Although, a few times I went there, during noon. There were smoke from trash burning activities and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. Overall, it's an amazing place.

Tempat favorit saya dikota Solo. Murah meriah untuk bersantai dan menikmati waktu dengan keluarga. Ada banyak hewan-hewan yg bisa dilihat. Bahkan rusa, angsa, kalkun nya diumbar sehingga bisa kita kasih makan dan berfoto. Sayangnya masih ada hewan-hewan yang kelihatan tidak terurus. Saya berharap ada counter yg menjual makanan sehingga kita bisa kasih makan hewan-hewan itu. Pendidikan dan pengalaman yg bagus untuk anak-anak bisa menyayangi dan berbagi.

This place is free to enter, the deer are set free in the nature..
Also have a big lake, and for the zoo it also have an exclusive place that you must pay for the enter fee, the fee is cheap but it just adequate for the small zoo inside.
But I had fun in there, so was my family.

Pretty good tourist attraction, there's many of tame deers. You want to play a kick boat? Balekambang also have it. Good place for enjoy weekends.

Dusty, neglected and poorly maintained with rubbish strewn everywhere. It is somewhere for people to go and relax but not a particularly pleasant environment. People posting 4 and 5 stars here clearly have no idea what a public park can and should be like. The taman reptil (reptile park) cost 5K entry and is by far the worst zoo I have ever visited. A small number of animals including snakes, a couple of monkeys and sad looking cockatoos kept in very small, poorly-maintained cages. The reptile park was clearly set up as an attraction to extract money from visitors to Taman Balekambang but with zero consideration for the welfare of the animals. If you visit Taman Balekambang DO NOT sponsor cruelty to animals by wasting your money on the reptile park: it is a blight on the city of Solo. I came away feeling very angry.

A nice and friendly place in the heart of Surakarta city. Fresh air, and we can see deer and turkey walking around. Bring your kids there, you can even go fishing and release em. Love it

It is one of the biggest park in Solo. The entrance fee is free actually, so I would like to recommend everyone to come here. This park is owned by Mangkunegaran Palace and managed by The Government of Solo. Many trees and animals can be found here, such as swans, monkeys, deers, etc. The air is fresh and cool!

City park for Family. It has various attractions. You can find animals here : Deer, chickens, Swans, birds, and reptiles. It has large Fishpond that you can fishing here or try the boat to enjoy around the giant fishpond. It also have food stall, sells some snacks, Soto or fish food.

Unfortunately, the place isn't well cleaned. Some place were too dirty and broken. It was nice and great picnic place 4 years ago, but now, after being too crowded, it became bad.

Location is closed to bus station and easy to reach. Unfortunately, the entrance is quiet tricky as we have to take a path inside Manahan area, instead of the main road of Jl Ahmad Yani.
The venue is child friendly, you could find deers, peacocks, monkeys or swans in the playground. There's also water picnic area. Children also can play mini becak.

Taman Balekambang is one of few parks existing in Solo. It's green, it has many trees, and there are public facilities such as lavatory and mosque. It has a pool with some boats for rent, a reptile park, and turkeys, geese, and deers wander at will. It also has an open and closed stages where they held traditional dancing and opera performances, as well as traditional drama called ketoprak and ludruk.

Its park, deer are free there no cage.. literally like palace park.
On full moon or every mid of the month you can enjoy Ramayana Show there. Always full so make sure you be there at 19.00 and the best is its free!
