Quite okay for what it is. Considering the location, there doesn't seem to be much choice. The food is also quite good for hotel food. Quite a variety of foods and drinks on offer, but what really stands out is probably their egg station. I don't particularly like eggs, but i do tend to compare them for all these hotel breakfasts as they tend to be a mainstay. That's why this time i can say they probably made the most enjoyable omelette i have had in a long while - it was quite crisp on the outside but definitely still soft in the inside.

The hospitality & caring of the manager & the staffs are exemplary. Their assistance n help truly saves me.

The receptionist team needs major upgrading on how to do fast check-in and to be hospitable to guests (how basic!). There has been no hot water for almost 2 years. But I guess they do not bother to repair it because it is unfortunately the only 'acceptable' hotel in Merauke. Too bad.

This is the one decent hotel in town (as of end-2017). It isn't clean, the noise comes through the doors and there's signs of wear in the rooms. The beds are decent, there's TV and amenities like coffee, a kettle like any other hotel. The breakfast buffet is quite good, particularly when you consider you are at the furthest point of the map on Indonesia. The service is always friendly and everyone is smiling at you - which makes up for the less than clean rooms and other inconvenience. The pool is really popular with tourists and is often crowded. Still the best thing in Merauke.
