This really stands up to its name, a real heavenly world here. A sanctuary of spiritual realm. A sure bucket list location, wonderful ambience, top hospitality, smiley staff, great location, healthy food, beauty and beauty and beauty everywhere thank you Svarga Loka. We stayed here for a week with family and what a great choice to spend lovely time together away from everything mechanical and bond over everything that is natural.

Svarga Loka is a great hotel set in the midst of the jungle of Ubud. We really enjoyed our room (wonderful balcony and bathrooms with views into the jungle). The rooms are very large too.
The staff was really amazing, both at the front desk as well as in the restaurant. The breakfast is good but make sure to have a meal a la carte from the restaurant for lunch or dinner - it's really delicious.
The laundry service is great and very fast (less than 24h turnaround). We received large discounts (e.g. 120k IDR flat fee for a full laundry bag) after having used the service a few times during your stay.
Some smaller issues we had were that the mosquito nets around the bed didn't fully close and we had quite a lot of ants in our room, the latter of which I can only assume to be a common thing in Ubud.
One part that definitely needs attention however is the wifi setup at the hotel. The wifi only works well in the lobby and in the restaurant, with speeds even up to 25Mbit. In the rooms however you won't have any connection. If you're lucky you'll get 1-2Mbit at 6am when no other guests are awake yet. At all other times the Wifi simply wouldn't work and so you're left without any Internet connection because there also isn't any cell service around the hotel grounds.response / report this review -

It's a very balinese style resort with wellness as main focus. They can customise related events for groups. Rooms & suite are clean with beautiful view. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Downside is many mosquitos since its surrounded by ponds, high trees and close to river valley. Staff service is very good.

Nice resort situated on a hillside, however a map is provided on arrival. Additionally they have a shuttle bus to ubud central.
