OMB ..The best sushi I have had when traveling. The Tuna tataki

Been here two times in the last year. Staff is really friendly and nice. Had the sashimi app and it was really tasty. Three kinds of fish, 7 pieces. All really good. Had the seaweed saladcomes on a bed of cucumber sunomono styleand topped eith seasame seeds. Really good. And had a rollalso tastyit was the one woth tempura shimp inside ans sashimi on topa little bit sweet, a little bit crunchy, and really delicious. The only thing I didnt like was the pickled ginger. It lacked flavor and tasted a big old. ( I am a bit of a pickled ginger fiendI love i
But this stuff wasnt that good). Oh also had a green teareally nice. Highly reccomend.

Easily one of the best sushi places I've been to. Looks can be deceiving from the outside. The fish was fresh, cut and portioned appropriately and the rice was cooked perfect. Service was homely

They have nice sushi, especially here I wouldn't expect this type of quality. And they're really fast with the preparation! The wasabi could be a bit stronger in my opinion. Nevertheless, good place to eat sushi!

This place offers you one of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. You can eat EVERYTHING and it makes you wanna come back as soon as possible. While you're eating you can have a nice talk with the owner and his handsome wife.

Sushi was fresh and good. Crab is imitation so don't bother with that. Otherwise good quality just not a ton of options I'm from Washington State so we get lots of fresh sushi.

Recently went to Ulu Wasabi during our honeymoon in Bali. We must say the food was absolutely delicious! The seafood was fresh and the work the chef put into his dishes was impeccable. The rolls, the sashimi, everything! For a tiny little restaurant, they delivered excellence and the ambiance made you feel at home. We sure hope the next time we return to Bali, we will be sure to visit this restaurant again.

Very good & highly recommended.

Living in London & having spent 6 months living in Japan I've eaten my far share of fish. The offering at Sushi ulu wasabi focuses more on the American style of extravagant rolls but boy do they do it well. The Kamikaze roll which is finished with a flash fry was superb. The contrast in texture between the crisp seaweed & the soft fish contents was amazing, one of the best rolls I've ever tasted. The sashimi was good quality with the snapper particularly good. Tuna tataki was excellently prepared with the searing of the outside done well to create the contrast in textures you look for. This restaurant would do well in London & the prices are certainly not akin to London. Any traveller who enjoys sushi will be like a kid in a sweet shop with the food available to these prices.
