Despite an advertised discount for early arrival between 12pm and 5pm they did not even acknowledge it on my arrival. In fact were borderline rude. Also placed practically empty at time. Then had to wait until 6pm before things actually started and that also did not go well. Being harrarrsed by there staff for tips from literally everyone. There are much better Spa than this in every respect. One to avoid.

Sumo Spa is specialized in shiatsu massage, a japanese technique that consists in applying hard pressure to different parts of the body using the palms and hands. It is located in Kelapa Gading, an area in North Jakarta, at least 1 hour away from Jalan Sudirman..

Owned by the Stadium group (also behind Malioboro and Kampus), it is evidently not a family spa A massage plus plus with "happy ending" is a minimum, but it's likely to be more than that..
