  Stasiun kendal ini harus dijadikan stasiun kelas besar ,untuk pemberhentian KA Eksekutif ,Ekonomi ,dan Komuter .Supaya stasiun ini bisa dijadikan untuk KA wisata relasi Kendal-Kalibodri ,Kendal-Kaliwungu .Seperti KA Kendal Ekspres kelas Ekonomi AC komuter bus rel relasi Weleri-Kendal-Semarang Tawang .
