Spikoe is a two-layer cake and Spikoe Resep Kuno is a well-known souvenir from Surabaya. The cake is delicious. It is moist and not overly sweet. I kept mine in my fridge for 5 days and it still tasted good. It is on the pricey side (75-180K) though, but the cake worthed the price.
The store is pretty small. It is not more than a counter where customers order and pay for what they purchase and several chairs. It does not have designated parking area so customers should park right in front of the store.

Compare to any other original spiku cake, the price is high and the taste is just not to special. But if neede to buy for a gift, i thing the "named" is really sells in others mind.

Probably the best Spikoe in Surabaya. It's a very popular gift shop. There's not so much in the inside, only a counter to order Spikoe and that's it. You literally come in, order Spikoe, pay and get out. It's a bit pricey though.
