  Went with a friend, who is also an accomplished underwater photographer. He had been there before and it was a first time for me. Would go back. The resort takes care of everything and is very safety conscious regarding diving. Live aboards abound, but we were very happy to have the space of a bungalow with AC. Made full use of the camera bench facilities. The dive operation they use only takes 6 max at a time, usually less. Aside from the guide there are usually 2-3 boat helpers. Certainly not crowded. Very picturesque in a quaint jungle setting.

  The most enjoyable travel experience I have ever had with my wife and son thanks to the wonderful staff at Sorido Bay Resort making this possible. We could not have asked for anything better as we were well looked after and the facilities, accommodation, food and service was the best, and all within a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. I would also like to say a special thanks to Chris Harvey for his most exceptional and professional level of scuba diving expertise. His knowledge and experience gave us the opportunity to improve our skills as well as giving us a better appreciation for the marine life and the surrounding area. We will have a special place in our heart for the time we had at Sorido Bay Resort and look forward to visiting again.

  An amazing experience end to end. The staff at the resort is so welcoming and caters to each guest individually. The diving and snorkelling in Raja Ampat definitely lives up to its reputation and it should really be on every diver's short list.
  There are many places to stay there and we stayed in 3 different places, but Sorido was a step ahead of everyone else in terms of their sustainable approach to tourism, the quality of their dive centre and the quality of the accommodation and food.
  We have been travelling for 5 months and our kids are still talking about their experience there almost every day. The discussions with the founder Max had a profound impact on the way they see our eco system and the dive master Chris made sure everyone has an amazing dive/snorkel experience based on their level.
  A huge thank you to everyone for our unforgettable stay.

  This stay was just a remarkable experience. Not only due to the great hotel, rooms and outer area as well as an unbelievable sea life, but also because of the amazing staff and the very professional diving workflows.
  
  Seldom have I felt so well and professionally taken care of while diving. From very professional pre-diving briefings to the debriefing, everything was takted perfectly and coordinated ahead.
  
  The sea life is spectucular and should not even need mentioning. (just look google the place. You got every thing here

  We stayed at Sorido for 4 nights and I did my AOW there ! It was an amazing experience . The bungalows stayed in have comfortable beds and waterfront porches . The food was awesome - buffet style but they changed menu everyday . Special thanks to chris , my diving instructor, for looking after me so well . I fell in love with diving again and I can’t wait to go back in the near future .
