It's nice. It offers free snacks, so if you get hungry at night but not in the mood of a heavy meal, it's handy.

It is located near Gondangdia Station, that you could access on foot from the hotel.

The food is okay, not great but okay.

Good old hotel. Syariah but they seem quite lax about everything. Service is good, food is also. We had a 3 days meeting with full board pack, and the price is reasonable - the management even gave us bonus (free room). Great access to Central and South Jakarta, so it's quite easy to manage your international delegates.

Although I like the architecture of the building which embraces the local heritage, I think the hotel can improve its service to provide better comfort to customers. I know it's a rather old hotel but it doesn't mean that the bed cannot be upgraded. I seek comfort when sleeping in a hotel and I didn't really get that during my stay. For the same price I know a hotel that offers me a very good quality bed.

Booked through Airy, and got a very affordable place.

A pleasant place and decently featured, for the price. TV, complimentary snacks and beverages, a fridge, a safe, hot/cold shower, A/C -- pretty basic for a modern hotel. And with a price of under IDR 300k a night, you'd expect some glaring compromises, but none are apparent.

The staff are very hospitable and very respectable.

But this is a syar'i hotel, meaning that only married couples or siblings are allowed to stay if the guests are of different genders. You will need your marriage book or family card respectively (or similar documents) if you plan to stay with the opposite sex.

Overall, when I looked at the price, I had my doubts. But everything from the rooms to the staff exceeded my expectations.

This is my first visit. I will say this hotel is good. Strategic location, near the subway, mosque and convenience store. I booked the twin room for myself. Because other room are full booked. I booked the room used application. The application said it's not Sofyan Hotel Cut Meutia, but Syariah Menteng Cut Meutia 9. The hotel provide free drinking water, toiletry, towel, free tea and Coffee, free snack. Good hotel with reasonable price. Good over all.

My family and I had stayed here twice, both were enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located in Menteng area, central Jakarta, just a few steps away from the old Cut Mutia Mosque. The breakfast is modest yet enjoyable, all hotel staffs are polite and friendly. Cafes and eating places are easy to find within walking distance. Not to mention the famous oxtail soup, Sop Buntut Cut Mutia, which is just across the street.

Located at the downtown. Easly to reach train station. Halal hotel, and near Cut Meutia Mosque. Betawi style. Cleanliness need improvement, as well as their breakfast. Offer Airy Rooms and ZenRooms. Pleasant stay tho ~

The place is small, but cozy. It is a quiet place. Prayer mat and Al-Qur'an in every room. The staffs are friendly. The price is reasonable for the facilities offered. The mushola is in good condition. My family said the breakfast selection is quite good.

I am currently staying here and I really like the room, cozy and more than enough for my mom and I. Prayer mat and quran provided. The staffs are super friendly, I am satisfied with this hotel. Very close to mosque, and lots of stalls to eat, especially the restoran sederhana masakan padang, it's tasty. Transportation is so easy that you can use grab/uber/public transport. I'll try the breakfast tomorrow morning and leave another comment about the food later. Overall, we love itso much. Terima kasih atas layanannya 😄

Full of traditional Betawi atmosphere. Located in front of Cut Meutia historical mosque. Close to Gondnagdia train station. Simple and clean. Strategic location. Not a really big hotel. Affordable rate.

This hotel is old. While the service is decent, the rooms and the hotel overall need to be refreshed. The towel.. Well.. It is clean, but the colour shows its age. Yeah, an aging towel is not good for your soul. However, you'll find yourself to stay at this hotel because it is at the heart of the town. To go out and about is easy, accessible, so many good restaurants around the hotel. An affordable accommodation at the centre of Jakarta.

Its nice to stay at syari'ahfully hotel's concept such as Sofyan Hotel Betawi,
where you can find a moeslim friendly facilities, an islamic's atmosphere , a very helpful and friendly staff and also a halal food.
They have a very clean mushola/surau/Mosque to pray,
quite small yet simple but also very comfortable .
Although the interior looks old and a bit stiff, or maybe it's also their concept, to be a classic, but quite comfortable to stay and having some rest here. I would like to give an input/suggestion for the bedrooms interior to be more elegant and slightly use a bright color to be more cheer .
However it's nice to stay here whether you are a muslin or non :) Thanks.

I use laundry service cause I need to fly early in the next morning and staf said it is a same day service. Cause I am going to check out at 9.30 PM so if the laundry can be send to my room at 8 PM, there is still plenty of time. Until I check out at 9,30 PM, the laundry is still not there. Hotel said the laundry has arrived at 10 PM and will be send to my home which is about 12 km from the hotel. I am waiting now until 12.30 AM and still not arrived. Damn this hotel.
