I was there long ago to visit the founder of 'Sea World Club Resort', Pater Bollen. I like Maumere and surrounding. It is not a place like Denpasar or Kuta in Bali, but a place you can relax beside diving and enjoy the surrounding stress free.

A great place to spend your holiday in Maumere.
One thing that surprised is almost all of the breakfast are unprocessed food which made from local products and ingredients. They provide white bread, sweetened white bread, red rice bread, and black rice bread, and they are homemade. Loved the homemade jam, the jams are also homemade. The honey is originally from the forest of Maumere.

Great place if you're looking for some peace and quiet in a simple beachfront hut. Good food, if you mind waiting a little, order your dinner before you get there. Good scuba for advanced divers as well.

Amazind sea view and great spirit. A little bit long to serve food, but everything is done on the spot if you order a pizza (yes !!), think that they make the base as well !!! It takes time. But the sight is so great, only difficult european tourist can winge about it i love it.

Absolutely the best beach resort on the island for anyone looking for an unmatched hideaway in its true meaning. Services are sincerely delivered by personalities wearing only genuine smiles. Be surprised by the culinary experience you'll encounter here. Anyone wants a fresh coconut? They'll hand-pick it for you ala minute from the trees in their garden. Find out for yourself. Every single moment here is worth a story to tell.

This resort had a nice view of the beach and mountains. The manager and employees possessed qualities of a good companion. An experienced scuba diver, who guided me as well as my mother, was also friendly. The food was good. Surprisingly, German rice breads were provided there, too. Unfortunately, the toilets and bathrooms emitted an unpleasant odor and were a little unclean.

Good if you're a backpacker but not if you are expecting basic creature comforts like good water pressure in the taps or room service or even a bar selling bottled water.
