If you seek classic ambience and good meal, you'll definitely come to this place. Mie Tarik Sapi is the best choice indeed. One more thing, it has open kitchen so you might be able to see how your noodle is being made.

Apparently, they have changed the menu now from pizza to some noodles (Mi Tarik).

The noodles were okay, I tried the Mi Tarik Ayam, which is the home made noodle with chicken and soup. The Kuei Tiaw were good. Prices for the food and drink is quite affordable.

Love the vibe as it's like vintage, heritage kind of thing.

So, food is average, affordable and it's a good place for hanging out.

Pros:
Good atmosphere, calm, good food with affordable price, few visitor, close to the cinema.
Cons:
Very slow and bad service, not good beverage with expensive price, little dirty.

Its really comfortable and really feels like home. The food is great and the atmosphere is back in 1960 and festive. I do recommend to try Rawon and Bakso. The best drink here is Kaliurang juice.

Excellent choice of food and beverages. I particularly liked the coffee, with interesting examples like the Affogato - a coffee selection that is hard to find in this area.

Serae also has a very nice ambiance, a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere, great for having long chats or getting some work done.

Quite calm and cozy place located near XXI cinema with good services. They serve varieties of Indonesian and Mediterranean foods with affordable prices. Their taste is not the best in town but still, this cafe & resto, is a good place to kill some time before the movie start.
