Nice view form hotel, friendly staff and delicious food. Beds are comfortable with proper air conditioner. Lovely place to stay and discover small but lovely island. Highly recommend to go there. its an awesome.

Stayed there for 4 nights. Very nice, vivid place, plenty of happy people and attentive staff. Good breakfast and evening barbecue. Tip for potential guests - don't pay for upgraded room with the ocean view! First of all, almost all night music and smell from the barbecue till very late won't let you sleep and secondly you won't spend much time in the room anyway.

Excellent stay ! Staff is friendly, dedicated and always looking how to make your stay more pleasant. The pool is good, and the rooms very very nice, especially that outside bathroom ! I recommend this hotel, of course. Next time in Gili T will be there, no doubt

One of the best place to stay in Gili Trawangan. The room was huge and neat. The staff was nice. On the night they will have barbeque in beachfront which is recommended as well.

The island is very small, you can make a tour of the whole area in maximum 1 my with the bicycle. At the end of the trip, I realized that my hotel was in the best place ever. Not so isolated as the hotels on the west side, that you can reach only by walking through a dark street (no lights at all along the street) and at the limit with the most crowded area. Moreover, they offers everything you could need on Gili T: bike rentals (just 3€/day), spa services, diving Centre, a very nice restaurant on the beach, bar in the street, peaceful rooms. it has the comfort of a unity resort but it do not looks like a non accessible location. the best solution to have all the comfort in an easy mood.

Loved everything about this resort. The accommodation was better than the photos, the staff was incredibly friendly & helpful, the service was great, the food was great. Everything was beyond my expectations!
Even if you don’t stay here you HAVE to do scuba diving with the scallywags diving staff. I was really skeptical about the whole thing because i dont know how to swim but they made me feel really safe and I DID IT!!!!! 🤗 & the barbecue dinner is awesome 😋

All i can say is, the best place to have dinner (early dinner) value for money is top notch! Taste? Even better! Views? You have to try for yourself.. come around 4-530PM.. ENJOY!

A fantastic place to drink and eat. Fresh “pick your own” bbq including a variety of fish and meats. All well prepared and super tasty. Bar snacks and tapas are ideal throughout the day to sink down with the best-stocked bar on Gili T (and we’ve done the rounds). Day after Day we found ourselves coming back and stopping off for some excellent chat, drink and service. There’s a superb spa upstairs and an air conditioned restaurant for when the heat starts to get the better of you. Prices are very reasonable too. Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay here and are, in fact, at a place down the road.

Decent food and drink for a reasonable price. Good quality and well cooked, both western and Indonesian. Great location as it’s at the end of the strip so anyone at the quieter resorts can pop in for much cheaper drinks than where they stay. Staff are friendly.

Awesome staff. Big rooms and we booked one with a great view of the Gili T beach. If you ask, they can provide almost anything you possibly need. There is a little of noise until 11 pm as in any other hotel in the beach.

Rooms are super nice and the owner of the resort was great as well. The staff is excellent and the buffet was great as well.
I was able to do a dive with the school and the dive instructors were amazing and really nice.

Scallywags is great! It's located on the perfect spot: directly at the south of main 'street' on Gili T. This is close enough to the restaurants and bars that you're minutes away from a drink or meal, but not so close that you're kept awake by the sounds of late night revellers! The Ros are GREAT (spring the extra for a private pool), and the BBQ on the beach is great value!

Very good food, recommend the all day breakfast and the fish. Good views and very relaxing. Only down side is the staff are not very observant and have poor customer service skills & the frozen cocktails do not taste alcoholic at all.

Can't tell you about the resort, but the restaurant is THE BOMB. Yes it's pricey, and yes the service is a bit slow (but hey, you're on vacation on a beautiful island, maybe YOU'RE just too fast!?). But if you go down to the BBQ and get fresh fish, lobster, prawn or whatever your heart desires, you're in for a treat. We shared a 1.3 kg lobster with garlic butter and it was outrageously good. Seriously. If you're fed up with the Nasi Gorengs and the half-heartedly prepared western dishes you usually get around here, this is the place to go.

Amazing place!! Scallywags Gili T has a great team of staff, for whom nothing it too much to ask. Everyone working here contributes to create a relaxed and homely vibe, my friends and I felt so at home here it took a lot of persuasion to pry the group away from the pool and explore Gili T.
Whether you spend your days sleeping off a big night in the clean and comfortable rooms, lazing by the pool or under da sea with the dive crew, there's no faulting Scallywags!
Make sure you check out the evening BBQ (even if you're not lucky enough to be staying) for the tastiest prawns I've ever had and definitely go diving with these guys too. The professional and knowledgeable team of instructors and dive masters will make sure your dive is safe and fun.

Ate lunch and dinner at the beach side restaurant while staying at a nearby resort. Compared to other places close by, this restaurant has a large, good menu, fast and kind service, and great location with shaded tables right on the beach.

Food was good. Reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Service was good although they did forget one of our meals. But they were very apologetic and quickly served the missing meal.

The hotel is comfy, pool and spa on the premise. Welcoming cold towel and fruit juices are excellent treat. The room is clean with snack bar and toiletries. Breakfast included but caution for moslem traveller as they serve pork and ham. Lot of choices for food around though

Fantastic Resort! Beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. The BBQ Dinner + Unlimited Salad Bar was delicious! Complimentary buffet breakfast equally yummy and filling. The service and hospitality of the resort was fantastic and would not hesitate to stay here again 😄

We turned up late in the evening as a party of 5 and got told there were no available tables. The owner wandered over and said he would see what he could do and got us a table in 5 mins!
The service was excellent and waiters kept coming over to check on us and topping up our drinks.
The food was among the best seafood I've had both inside and outside of Indonesia - we had the buffet and BBQ both of which were fresh and well cooked.
It was fairly pricey but it was definitely worth it.
1 star added for the manager stepping in and helping us out because it's not often you come across such kind and helpful people running restaurants.

Clean room, nice staff and great breakfast. I just love the outdoor bathroom! Keep in mind though that the neighbours might hear you sing in the shower and also pooping :-)

Food was good, price okay waited for 2 hours for my food to arrive because they "lost" my order and when it arrived, they also forgot to replace my rice with veggies tough luck. Hope others get a better experience than what I got

Resort has a great location. Still on the main street, but far enough so that music wont bother you from near by bars.
They have a buffet breakfast, which is great (here I ate the best bacon on my 3 week trip in Indonesia). Breakfast is served in their restaurant by the beach.
Rooms are big and clean. Really liked the outdoor bathroom.
Staff is extremely friendly and the will help you anyway they can. All in all it was a pleasant stay.response / report this review -

Fun and lively place to stay in the heart of Gili T. Quaint Garden room with a small entrance courtyard and very nice outdoor bathroom. A nice blend of Bali and contemporary design. Very friendly staff and a killer view from the restaurant.

Review of the restaurant.
Firstly we were sat on a table without cutlery and had to watch our food go cold while they retrieved some.
We both had the spaghetti prawn marinara. At 95k I expect something of good quality. However our meals looked more like canned tomato spaghetti from heinz with a very small dash of parmasan cheese..

Knew Scallywags Restaurant by passing through and read GIli magazine. My expectations this place will be amazing.
BBQ nice. Juice nice. Mashed potato tasted good.
But seafood fried rice was so terrible! Tasteless and served with chicken satay.

Too expensive (although they include buffet salad) and taste so so. And they don't take order correctly. Asked for 4 squid ending with only 3 of them. The price is almost 50%++ more compared to other restaurants in the island. Asked the squid to served with BBQ sauce,ends up with garlic butter. Although the appearance is very tempting, they're always crowded evertime I pass it, and their outdoor grill is smoking hot that it lure us to come. Suggest to just take the salad buffet.
