Well, the taste is a bit different from around 10 years ago. I must say, it is no better than the last. If i can make a range point from 1-10, today taste is 7. The taste in ten years ago was 10. At least, you can still enjoyed middle class level of taste on Sate. 😇😇

The food taste really good, espc the sauce. sate, sauce, and "ketupat" are the perfect combination. The service also fast and good. The moment u enter the door, one of waiter will ask how many plate u want to order nd what kind of drink do u want. Try the "lapeh gadih" too. It steamed and filled with coconut. It tastes good too.

Sate Mak Syukur, was recommended by the local driver, and it is probably the best Sate Padang in town. To me the taste is rather strong, spicy, very different from what I had in Mak Syukur outlets in Jakarta. Don't know if they are one and the same
