So far this is the best chicken satay in town. The satay tasted delicious, no wonder coz this is the oldest chicken satay shop in Yogyakarta. Abit pricey but worth the taste. Most of customers are old peoples and family. Poor, the shop don't have proper parking area.

One of the best chicken satay at Jogja. The chicken is free-range chicken or literally "village chicken". In Indonesia, the term ayam kampung refer to indigenous chickens that are raised using traditional free running production techniques in the village).

Located in a busy street, little to no parking area. The food however is delicious. The satay is very tender, with a nice peanut sauce. They've been around since the 60s! The interior is rather old fashioned and hot. if you prefer take it to go.

Delicious marinade on the chicken satay and good tasting Lontong rice( it's rolled sticky rice and then sliced into pieces like hot dogs) You can't beat the prices. $3,000 for the Lontong Rice and $20,000 for 10 pieces of Chicken(Ayam) Satay
