This port is little bit far from the city center, I don't know why they built it there. It is better to open a new port close to the airport. I used ferry to travel to Lombok but there was traffic jam in Bali. It was boring to be in a car for more than an hour.

Stopped for a drink during my ride back from Padang Bai. Place looks clean and maintained. Enjoyed the view and.went on again. This port services boats to.Lombok and the Gili's.

It's a meeting point to go to Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida islands. I went here during the pandemic, so it's not as crowded. But I can imagine how crowded it is during normal holiday season.
Nearby, there are good and cheap Balinese food that you can eat while waiting for your boat.
The port itself doesn't have a deck so you'll have to go directly from the beach. Be ready to be wet up to your knee. Better to wear short and bring extra clothes if you plan on doing a day-trip.response / report this review -

Love it. In this time of pandemic, i often search for quieter place on the north side of the beach. The sand is darker though but it still beautiful.
