Sundanesse typical fried chicken is a good taste with pepes tahu, pepes jamur, and pepes usus ayam (pepes = food boiled in banana leaves) and fried potato ball, all delicious and most of all sambal hejo (green chili) make it perfect. Must try but have to be patient to get table there.

For me the sambal is not spicy. The staff's friendliness is so so. The price is not too expensive.

Best sundanese fried chicken. Soft and tasty. Great tempe and tahu. The lalap is also fresh. And the sambal is great, better with kecap bang*. The kue ape in front of the restaurant is also great, es duren too. Love this

A very well known sundanese restaurants, if you are a sundanese food lover this place cant go wrong. The fried chicken is very tasty and tender even thought with a minimal seasoning, the tempe & tahu are very crunchy but not too punchy and many more menus.. but the star here is the cimplung, a must try potato cake, the taste is very nice with a crunchy texture outside and a sticky inside (not in a gross way)

The taste just ok with affordable prices. The fried chicken cut was small but tasty. Unfortunately it has got a glass made washtand which looks gross.

Superb food with surprisingly affordable price. Great place to taste Sundanese culinary. It's just the tidiness, the place can be a lot better if it's cleaner.

When you arrive, the waiter will ask you "untuk berapa orang?" then they will direct you and set the food on the table.

The signature dishes: small slice of tasty chicken with yellow seasoning; Cimplung or fried mashed potato mixed with tapioca; and of course. green chili-tomato sauce/condiment.

The price is average and relative affordable.

No air conditioner, only fans around the room. The place can accomodate many guests, but you can expect waiting list when it comes to lunch time.

Over all, this restaurant will give you tasty sundanese dish with hommie ambiance.

Place of choice for tradisional Sundanese cuisine, speciality in fried Chicken, 'cimplung', and green sambal (transition alhamdulillah chilly sauce) - that's why they name it 'Sambel Hejo' 😉

My personal green chili fave! The place is adequate, the menu has many variation from chicken, tofu, pepes, dried salted fish, tempe, veggies. Price is very affordable and the taste is outstanding. Don't forget to mix your green chili with red chili for extra strong spiciness.

Tasty fried chicken, with their signature sweet green chili paste. Highly recommended. Also try their "cimplung", traditional fried potato ball.

Food is ok because it served and ready in few minute, but in rush hour fully booked and dificult to find parking, better to get there before lunch time, price is fair

It serves common Sundanese food such as marinated fried tofu, fried chicken, lalab (raw vegetables to be eaten with sambal such as cucumbers, eggplants, lettuce, cabbage, leunca/black nightshade), salted dried fish, potato starch balls, tempe. The highlight of this place is its sambal hijau/green coloured sambal which is salty and not at all spicy.
