Very nice hotel at the centre of Batu City, with large room, clean and cozy place, delicious breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Batu Lippo Mall, and much food place around. Very recommended place for stay if u are holiday at Batu City

I really enjoyed staying in Samara Resort. I stated for two nights here.
The ambiance is good as well as the view. It looks homey and make you just want to stay in your room.
The rooms are quite spacious and they also have connecting doors if you stay with some kids or relatives and still need to watch them. Toiletries are available, including a hairdryer.
Breakfast is served with various options, from fruits, cereals, bread, cakes and pastries, heavy meals with many menus, and even tradinional Javanese cuisines and jamu.
They also have pools, a shallow one for kids and a 1.3M for bigger ones.
I would recommend this hotel very much.

Located close to Batu city center with a nice mountain view. The hotel is clean, newly built with fresh mountain air. Overall service at the reception, restaurant and so on is excellent. Always fully booked in weekend or holiday season. Spent two nights at weekdays with a slight discount than the weekend rate. Breakfast was also an enjoyable one with a variety of local and national food. Unfortunately had no opportunity to enjoy the pool which looks so inviting. Always pick a room with a lift and pool view.

We stayed in Samara Hotel for 3 nights. When we decided to take this hotel as our big family resorts (24 adults & 6 kids), it was high season so we aware that the cost that we need to pay double than normal season rate. The pictures they put on website was breathtaking but when you see it yourselves, it won't be as breathtaking as the pictures they put on adv.

In our stayed experience, what they put in contract in the first place, we didn't get them all. No water running for almost 2 days, we need to borrowed the buckets to collect the water from outside that they use to sprinkler the plants and carry the buckets to 2nd floor. Also we used the plastic pipe to connect the water from the sprinkler tab outside through our hotel. The water didn't run properly from their shower head, we need to leaned over the wall to get the water running slowly from shower head. If there is no water running from the shower head, we need to wait for 3 minutes for let the water circulated again from the source. We had kids waiting inside the bathroom cover with towels just for waited for the water running again. No exhaust fan nor window inside the bathroom so no air circulation happening in the restroom. When we checked underneath the bed, we can definitely see the pilling dusts that make us cough because of the dust went throught the respiratory and we also found PJ's inside the drawer from previous person/group who rent the hotel.
They also have tea time voucher that you can enjoy as your compliment start from 4pm-6pm. But make sure you waited your snacks otherwise the lady (her name is IKA) gave your snacks that you've been waiting for hours to other people who had been que after you. When we asked her why she gave the snacks to another person, she can't answer and find the excuse by saying that the snacks were burnt that's why she gave to another person and she will make another batch for us but we need to wait again.
Apart of IKA, you will feel delighful with the Omellette's cook (her name is CHRISTIN). She might only a cook but she knew how to make customers as her priority. She even remember which person order omellette or sunny side up or well done eggs and even keep them aside so that eggs won't be taken by another person. Maybe management need to see through their employement one more time to put the right person in the right place?
At the end of our stay, we asked the management if they can compensate "not enjoyable" moment we had, they said that the price they gave to us already discounted (high season, double charge = discount???), they offer voucher that not even compatible with the dissapoinment we got for 3 days. We spent about Rp 25.000.000,- ($2500 AUD) and the voucher they offered worth Rp 800.000,- ($80 AUD) which mean we ONLY be able to use that voucher in SAMARA hotel. When we asked is that any other compliment they can offer, they said they can give us discount 5% from our last stay (which value Rp 400.000,- or $40 AUD after we calculate).
At the end, we decided what they offered us as a compliment not worth a second chance.
If you looking for a place to stay that you can have enjoyable hot shower, good sleep and nice meal and good snacks Please go somewhere else. I am not recommend this hotel until they fix their problems not only in their management but also in their water systems.

Good place for big family gathering, unfortunately lack of management on dealings with overcrowded customer, need to train the staff when dealing in such situations, the management didn't step up to help their staff, what a shame. Hopefully getting better, would not recommend this place for group or family

hotel katanya 3 bulan baru saja dibuka, tapi kebersihan dari segi ranjangnya sangat sangat kotor banyak spot coretan dan kuning2, dan terutama lagi serangga seperti Semut hampir Mirip ama "TOMCAT" buanyak minta ampun, habis dibersikan muncul lagi. mau tukar kamar ya kagak bisa katanya penuh. Pagi pengunjung baru jangan tertipu dengan Namanya "Resort", aslinya kelas Melati.

Suka dan puas stay 4 malam di samara resort, suasana hotel tenang dan relax, semua staff ramah, request dpt kasur double, staff hotel mengusahakan kasur single digabung jadi 1 menjadi double sehingga waktu kami dtg tengah malam bisa langsung beristirahat dengan nyenyak, breakfast cukup enak dan mengenyangkan ditemani lagu keroncong yg lawasss ;). Lokasi hotel dekat dengan objek wisata, hypermart, bakso arema cak tono yg enak banget, hotel dan fasilitasnya semua bersih, no complain, surely next will come back again.. samara resort superbest.. Two thumbs

Setelah bingung cari Hotel
Ehhh di sebelah kiri muncul lah Samra Resort masuk dehh
Setelah masuk dan di berhentikan di pos penjagaan
Ternyata tempatnya baguss
Semua ramah mulai dari security,Receptionist, dll cukup murah dan sesuai dengan apa yg di berikan pelayanannya.

Terus di tingkatkan agar tamu lebih nyaman dan kembali lagi jika liburan di kota batu.

Tempatnya bagus, bersih, hawanya juga sejuk. Kamar bersih dan masih terawat. Colokan listrik juga tersedia cukup.
Hanya saja ada hal yg mengecewakan, yaitu bagian reseption kurang profesional. Saya sudah memilih, membayar dan memesan kamar dg view pilihan yg masih tersedia, tapi alangkah kagetnya ternyata kamar tersebut disewakan utk tamu lain yg datang belakangan.
Dikamar tidak tersedia sandal, dimana saya lihat bbrp tamu memakai sandal hotel.
Sekian kritik saya.
