The ambience of Sakapatat is nice, there are a lot of drinks you can choice according to your mood. The foods are great as well. My personal favorite would be its Belgian Fries. It's pretty cheap with a premium taste. The baristas are nice as well. All those qualities are enough to make me a regular there.

They have free-flow beer every Friday start at 6 PM, with one meal purchase per person. My go to order is always Belgian Fries with Curry Mayo. That was the best fried potato ever, they top it with generous sprinkle of seasoned fried shallot. Their fried salmon bites was amazing, too!

i think this is the most representative place to have a drink and snacks. the place is cozy. only need to make the music not too loud so people do not ended up yelling out to each other. that would make conversations a bit difficult :))

UPDATE 2018: Sakapatat has improved a lot over the last couple of years while preserving the laid back atmosphere. I find myself in Sakapatat frequently, chilling with friends, and enjoying the music and drinks. Changing my old 2/5 star review to a 5/5 star review.
2015:
This restaurant just opened up recently. I decide to check it out and although I arrived a bit late it was still open and welcoming people. They have a decent sized beer selection. I found the food to be below average in taste. For example my fries were really soggy and oily and my chicken wings were bloody and didn't taste that good. 2/5response / report this review -

Food was okay. Price was pretty high for Yogyakarta i think. The service was not really good though. We ordered drinks, it didn't came for almost an hour even though we've asked the waiters for several times. In the end, one of my friend's order didn't came out. Bummer!
The place have a good design though. Didn't know if I'm going to come here again or not. There will be place with a better service than this i think.response / report this review -

Was there last Saturday,place really cozy,the staffs just great and pleasant,but one thing embarrassing ,pas billing Masa pakai kertas tulisan tangan,at that time I can understand,tapiii..Hari ini gue ksana lagi..tadaaa,billing tulisan tangan lagi dongg,seriously?!! ,doesn't look professional

Western food was quite delicious with a bar like atmosphere. The coffee (latte) is the best coffee I've had in Indonesia and the burger was delicious, though just a bit salty. They seasoned the burger's meat, the onion ring, and the spicy mayonnaise so it was just a bit salty but it was cooked well and was still very tasty. A good burger and fries according to Western standards is quite hard to find in Indonesia and this was a real treat. I highly recommend!

Great place to chill and hangout with friends..great atmosphere..it's offers beer, wine, champagne, cocktails, but not only alcohol..it's serve coffees, milkshakes and main course such as steaks, curry, fried rice, burger, lasagna ..yet it has many of good disserts..the price is reasonable..Nie interior and ambience though..

Go here for the drinks and the beer. Their flavored beers are good. The food isnt recommended for the price they sell it for. The bartenders are nice, the nuance is relaxing, the music is also not too loud. Great to hang out for a couple of drinks with some friends

Atmosphere nice, location accessible, nice crowd, staff friendly cleasness (**** buleh standard)
- food: burgers delicious but bit small in size, Belgian fries bit too oily, nice beers. Maybe should off the same offer as in semarang: free beers on friday eve.
