Wonderful Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Wow, what a place. My girlfriend and I just got back and had an amazing time. Want to thank Rock (owner), Darin (surf guide) and of course Dr. Tom (guest) for your help with my injury (nothing bad, other than my surfing). Also Darin’s young son, Dillon for bringing me a plate of food when I couldn’t walk and for all his advice. Great kid!
Food was great and plentiful at every meal and bungalows nice, a bit rustic - perfect for the tropical setting. Plenty of hot water in the showers and stocked with beer, soda, water and snacks. AC and mosquito net over bed so no problems with bugs. Each bungalow is beach front and private. The water in front of the resort is crystal clear, calm and easy for relaxing and snorkeling. No need for a pool.
Staff is terrific and always tidying up things. Always happy with every request we made.
A couple things to know about booking: this is a surf resort, though not a hard core surf camp. It caters to surfers seeking waves at all the world class surf spots in the area and Darin is great at finding uncrowded waves. They have surf boats that go out twice a day.
It’s also good for families and kids, but they should like the water because if you don’t surf, there are plenty other water activities, but not much else other than yoga, spa and beach walks. Kids will have a blast at the beach, chasing lizards, exploring and swimming. Never saw kids ever get bored.
Tip: Bring plenty of mosquito repellant. Both our lemon grass oil and organic Badger spray worked great.
Bottom line, people here are amazing as the beautiful scenery and surf is world class. We will be coming back.
Spent a week there with girldfriend in august: Best place to stay. Great location, excellent staff, good vibes, perfect for singles, couples And families. Walking distance almost private surf spot, close to others spots, hope to be back soon
