This place is known for karonese traditional cuisine called BPK. BPK literally is roasted pork with special condiments which make the meat tasted a little bit sweet. But in other restaurants of BPK maybe you will find different taste of the meat because every restaurant of BPK has their own taste.

BPK usually served with rice, soup, vegetable of cassava leaf mixed with banana bud, and of course with the sauce for the meat. The sauce for BPK is made of blood of the pork that has been cooked with some traditional spices and it's tasted spicy. But if you don't like to eat the blood, you can eat the meat with chilli sauce prepared on every tables.

By far the best of this Medan trip. They ran out of the ribs, unfortunately. But the Saksang was really good, the samcan and panggang were good too. We also ordered the Arsik fish dish.

Best Babi panggang Karo in the world, have more than10 branches, should try when you visit Medan . Variety of menus like Barbeque Ribs, barbeque pork, traditional Karo cuisine. Sugar palm juice alias Nira, so fresh. Price per portion to. 18.000. take away available

Swine paradise..

Place is HOT (litteraly), since no AC present and crowds that seems never stops comin' here.

Meals are GREAT.
My fav is ribs and red-meat bbq.
Simple dish, with large portion, and less price.

Definitely will come back EVERYTIME I go to Medan.

The place is on left side of the street when come from medan. Like so many lokal restourant in medan, DIRTY. They have to change the way they serve the glass for drink. Please make sure you give us clean and dry glass for God sake!

The taste is average, nothing special, but they have very fast service.
