First of all let me just say that I’ve been in Bali for the last 20 days or so and this is the best place I’ve visited so far. The food was delicious, the service was one of the best I’ve ever had, not just in Bali but in general. People working there are so polite and they do their best to make you feel amazing. The guy who was serving me, Yatna, was really nice and he also gave me some advices on what should I visit while I’m here. All in all I would suggest this place to everyone and I would like to thank the staff there for a pleasant talk and superb service! Keep up the good work!

If you want to try bad quality sushi made mostly of rice and pay a lot for that this is the right place. Wasabi and ginger as well as soya sauce they bring only one portion even if you order 10 rolls. However atmosphere and staff are very nice. Beautiful space with nice music but I didn’t enjoy my food at all. There are other places to eat sushi in ubud.

By far the worst sushi I've had in ubud out of the 5 or so places I've tried. A tuna roll means sliced tuna, not old tuna fish from a can. And none of the fish on the dragon roll was fresh enough to serve. Literally the 2nd time I've left a half full plate of sushi after eating it maybe 2,000 times (2x a week for 20 years?)

Also the rolls are just wrong. Did they just google "sushi roll names" and make random stuff?? A rock n roll is unagi and avocado, not asparagus and salmon

Nice atmosphere, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I'll probably come back for live music and cocktails, but go literally anywhere else in ubud for better sushi.

A beautiful place to be pampered, eat or partake in a drink. Charming and very red. Love the lobster rolls. Oh and the dirty martinis (2 is the limit).

Excellent food and the night we visited there was a live jazz band who were great. Also - good coffee and all-you-can-eat sushi on Sunday for lunch.

Awesome place to have a dinner! Price is totally worth it with the whole food and service experience. The owner, Wayan (friendly French man) is bringing the restaurant in the whole new level with his gesture! Definitely coming back to Rouge if we come to Ubud!

Visit this lovely gem for dinner one evening. The restaurant is a beauty and has a relaxed atmosphere. They have live music some nights and a Japanese themed garden which really adds to the ambience of the venue. Food was very filling and reasonably priced by European standards. I would say portions of sushi are quite large so don't over order in case you end up with a lot of food(coming from a 100kilo guy) Staff are very friendly and attentive and even the owner came up to ask us how our meal was going. Massive thumbs up for me.
We spent 400k idr with 16 pieces of sushi a chicken teryaki, salted caramel dessert, a large bintang, cocktail and two soft drinks.

Chic and refined establishment created by 2 interior designers from Paris. We had a drink in the beautiful garden, and then dinner in the restaurant. They serve very good Japanese fusion. There's a piano at the centre of the room with music every other day.

I thought they did a fantastic job with the food! Came in for sushi and cocktails which was awesome. Came back later for the lunch specials. A little pricey but only for bali overall worth it. Delicious!

Great place in Ubud. The owner, charmant france architect Dominique, is gorgeus and charismatic man. His "Rouge" is one of the best restaurants, bar (live jazz!!!) and resort in city. Excellent tip for diner in Ubud.

Romantic spot. Good atmosphere. The staff was nice. The french owner was taken care of the customers himself. Greeting each table personally. The sushi was very good. The place offers multiple options when it comes to cuisines. One more thing the restaurant offers live signing to complete the night.

Walking in here the place is lovely.

The garden is amazing.

It all started with my raw fried food that had too much batter so it wasn't cooked all the way.

I didn't realize it until I got to my 4th piece of tempura and threw up in the bathroom.

My juice was made with old fruit. It tasted like it was rancid even with the added sugar.

There was absolutely zero remorse and no one to take responsibility for the bad food.

Under cooked tempura. Gross lemon juice. Terrible sushi

The food here is not very well cooked.

A bunch of the tempura came raw. My wife threw up her food in the bathroom.

The lime juice was made from old or concentrated lines.

The California rolls didn't have avocado and tasted awkward.

There was no manager available to talk to likely on purpose.

Expensive but worth it! The owner personally introduced himself to every guest. Really nice! Whoever likes nice interior should have at least one drink in this bar.
