Great place for all the Frenchies but also everyone else alike. Selection of french litterature for rent or sell and Indonesian foods are served in this place. Great and friendly owner.

Delightful place on one of the less busy streets of ubud. Fantastic food, very friendly service. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, like dining with old friends. Definitely check it out if your in the area.

We really enjoyed the food and especially the coffee a ice cream dessert. The owner is do friendly and makes you feel at home. The mains definitely had a lot of thought and care put into making them stand out. The side salad was fantastic. Will definitely go back. Loved seeing so many kind French people.

Comfortably the best food we have had in Bali so far (month travelers here) - traditional Balinese dishes cooked by a Frenchman. You know it's going to be cooked with passion!

I recently revisited (with my wife son and Indonesian daughter-in-law,) yet again, this Ubud institution, run by the amiable Thierry and his Indonesian wife. Nothing has changed. the food and service is still just as good as ever it was ( a nice fusion of French and Indonesian), the host as charming, the ambiance still nicely laid back.

The owner is really great, he helped me when I ran into trouble and let me sit and wait at his cafe for my driver. The food is delicious and it's definitely a popular place for French tourists and locals!

Rendez-Vous Doux is a quiet and cool place, on two levels, with plenty of books, very good local + Javanese + French food (crêpes!), excellent lassies and kampucha, and a great smiling owner, Thierry, who loves to takecare of his customers and to help the tourists make the best of their time in Ubud. Not to miss!
