  Santi Muara Dipa temple is the main temple for Hindus in Bengkulu province. For much of the year this temple is deserted, but on Hindu holy days this temple will be packed by worshipers and visitors. This is an artful, lovely, and not excessively ornate temple.
  
  Simple guide for non-Hindu visitors:
  Visitors will need to wear a sarong and sash. Do not wear a sleeveless shirt. Women are not permitted to enter the temple during their menstruation. Never sit higher than the priests. Do not walk in front of people when they are praying.
