Hindu Temple. As with other temples, any visitor wishing to enter the sacred shrine of Sakenan Temple is obliged to wear sarongs and belts of Balinese cloth as well as for women not in their menstrual period. Name Serangan comes from the word sira and angen or "miss / love". Sakenan Temple is built with a background of gratitude of people who feel "sira angen" with the natural beauty of this island.

Pura Dalem Sakenan is an ancient Hindu Temple in Sanur region.
Sakenan derive from the word Sakyamuni, means the yogi (the sage) that reached the high level of self realization.
