I wish I could give more stars to rank Anna & Lee's amazing place.. If you are looking for a place remote and tranquil, but with stunning highlights to visit nearby, don't look any further. Anna & Lee make you feel welcome instantly. For us, their hospitality was a big plus! The rest of the staff is super friendly as well, and are there for you any time.
You can explore the Tangkoko area, do some amazing snorkeling (we're not divers) and enjoy adventurous hiking. As a reward you will get to see some magnificent views, the picture included is the proof! We planned to stay 3 nights, but ended op staying there for much longer. Once settled at Pulisan resort, it is very very hard to leave..

stayed twice, so peaceful, v.clean beach, relaxed, attentive staff, meals are a highlight made by locals with some superb local ingredients and recipes, fully equipped for diving, magnificent solid timber free standing traditional solid timber bungalows, also a short walk to Pantai Paal, highly recommended. Eco efficient. WIFI is available.

Diving doesn’t get much better. Barranquilla resort awaybfrom the world. Super food for a place like this. Two incredible hosts with Anna and Lee as well as incredibly friendly and joyful staff. The most colorful coral we have seen anywhere as well as nudis and incredible biodiversity. Don’t miss it!

Perfect location for those who wish to disconnect and enjoy nature. It is very hidden behind a thick forest and some bushes. I happened to ride by the area and managed to find it using my bike's gps. There is no cellular signal there. So plan not to have any need for your cell phone when you stay there. The outside world is not too far away. So you can venture out if you need a strong cellular connection.

So in June 2017 I went to this fantastic place. I flew straight from the Netherlands to Manado, arrived in the dark but there was a taximan picking me up from the airport. He brought me to the resort where a porter helped me to bring my bag through the jungle. Whoaaa, didn't expected that! There was a 10 minute in the dark jungle walk. So exciting after my flight. Straight to the holiday feeling! How bout that!
After I arrived the new owners made sure my room was ready and I had some nice food. And wooowww my room was amazing! It was nice and clean, just by the beach. Exactly what I wanted and needed that moment.

The owner, a Swiss woman (the best) knew what i liked and fixed me up to go diving Lembeh the next morning straight away. The next couple of days I did about 11 dives and they where the best dives I've ever did. Especially if you like the macro live. And don't mind me, I did a few share of dives in my life! We even spotted some manta's of the boat!

But you know what, the resort had a nice clean up since the new owners. Anna showed me the things she changed and the things she's about to do. And menn, i definitely want to go back someday. I really likes the fact that there was no internet, no power ( a little at night), and just nothing else. it is just you, the other customers en the nature. You don't need to fuss about what you gonna eat. Just show up in the restaurant and they serve you some pretty good food as well. I think coming here is one of the best decisions ive ever made.

Wrong decision was not bringing money with me. No power means no creditcardmachine. But also that worked out pretty fine in the end anyway.

Si no vas a bucear no hay mucho que hacer, y es caro para lo que ofrece Es pensión completa pero si llegas antes de la hora de comer te cobran por esa comida y cuando haces el check out no te dan de comer. Curioso.
