I visited and usually stay over in this Prana Dewi Mountain Resort for several times already, although it is up in Tabanan Regency hill, the view is worth to see and enjoy with family, they have several bungalows that you can rent. It is just about 200m before the holy Batukaru temple, you can walk up to the temple in the morning. You should come and try to stay over.

Prana Dewi is a great place for a holiday. The place is very calm and soothing. Away from the crowds of the city, we can enjoy the beauty of nature in the midst of cool mountainous areas.

I have been to PRANA DEWI already many times and i enjoyed my stay each times.
The food is always excellent especially the vegetables and the fruit they are always fresh.
The bungalows are all built in a traditional style, fitting perfectly with nature.
The staff is friendly and always helpfull.
Tracking is offered and the beautiful surroundings are perfect for a two to three hours walk.
There is a big hall perfect for yoga or meditation.
    I highly recommend this place.

This resort is perfect if you really want to go back to nature. No noise of cars or motor-bikes but only birds singing, crickets chirping and the pleasant relaxing sound of water running through the rice fields. Perfect place for meditation or yoga or just to recover from daily stress.
The organic vegetables are grown in the huge tropical garden and there are different kinds of tropical fruit trees.
In front of the bungalows, which were all built by using local natural materials, you can enjoy the view of the rice paddies so that you get the feeling to be one with nature.
Every time I come to this resort I feel to be reborn and I feel sad when the day of my departure approaches.
A big thanks also to the friendly staff who helps you to feel like to be at home.
I higly recommend this resort and hope others can feel, as I do, to be closer nature and thus to God.

Was there for a 4D3N meditation retreat. The lacto-ovo vegetarian food there was excellent (considering I am a meat lover by default) and varied with no two dishes done in the same way duing my stay there. E.g. The eggs were done omelette, scrambled and sunnyside up styles on the 3 breakfasts I had. Accomodation was sparse (no TV, no wifi) but fine. Ride from the airport took almost 2.5 h mainly because of the congestion in the small roads.

I only had time to stay for one night, though this is a very beautiful, secluded place with nice climate (approx 5-10 degree "colder" than sea level).

This is a hidden perl lost in the mountain area. You will experience life between rice paddies facing huge bamboo forest and tropical trees. If you want to stay away from Internet and touristic crowds, if you enjoy nature sounds and colorful beauty, than this is a place for you to stay a few days. Have fun in the sweeping pool full of fresh cool water running from the nearest mountains, do jungle trecking and try delicious food in their restaurant.
