Beautiful exotic ambiance in the evening. Would be perfect for a romantic dinner. I ordered a traditional Indonesian fish dish which was absolutely delicious and flavours so fresh. Service was great. I came here with kids but it's not really great for kids as it is quiet and kids were making a bit of noise. Really enjoyed it though!

Friendly service. It's an open air restaurant so it doesn't have ac. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful restaurant with small garden and pond. The menu is kind of hit and miss but I love their mango cheese cake! The ice cold beer wasn't ice cold.

Had diner there tonight & ordered the Poppies seafood basket for 2. It sounded really nice reading it off the menu but unfortunately that's where it ended. The lobsters where very overcooked, the prawns were like rubber & no taste at all. The scallops were seared well but ovetcooked to the point they were as rubbery as the squid. The squid was stringy as well as rubbery. One of the worst seafood meals my wife & I have ever eaten. Costing close to $60 AUD for the meal & 2 drinks was probably why it was overcooked. At home we would pay around $80 - $100 but for a lot better quality.
As we are here for 12 days we can cross this restaurant off our list of places to eat when in Bali.

I'm full just thinking about this restaurant. Great choice for affordable fine dining, with unique cocktails and gourmet take on local food. Amazing homemade desserts such as apple pie or mango cheesecake with fresh fruit. Great place for a special occasion or last night in Bali. But no car access to street - walk or motorbike, or stop taxi at nearby intersection.

A peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of downtown Kuta, Poppies is a fantastic place to escape the intensity and madness of the shopping district and relax in a quiet garden setting with fantastic food. The staff are friendly, the service fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend the sushimi platter, sesame crusted tuna steak, and the dark chocolate cake!

This is a nice place to enjoy some local food. The food is better than average but the ambience and helpful staff makes it a pleasant experience. Expect to pay about 200.000 per person.

My sister and I went here a few days ago. We were the first customers and had the place to ourselves. The food was good, i had Nasi Goreng. The rice was really tasty but i only found one tiny piece of shrimp, egg was good and pickled veggies are delicious as well. Chicken was okay though - nothing special. I would have to agree though with the other comments, staff are in plain sight chit chatting. They were even ogling so my sister and I decided to move to a table away from them.

Came here for breakfast. It was well executed. The setting was beautiful, nice lush greenery, beautiful vines. The only qualm I had was the service staff was in full view of the guests while sitting and chatting amongst themselves while getting service ready for the rest of the day. There should be a better spot for this right? Without that, it will be an excellent place for breakfast, nice and quiet with beautiful shady vines.

The atmosphere was nice but the food was not great, I expected more from all the reviews and its price range. Not recommend their steak and tuna steak at all but indonesian food is okaytoo bad myself and my family had to wait about 40min to get the food.

Food is excellent, service can not be faulted and serve sizes are regular, yet still filling. Some items on menu are seasonal

Love this little restaurant! Easy to walk past as the entry to it is very small but worth keeping your eyes open for. We've been to Bali 7x now and always make sure we have dinner here at least once. Make sure you try the piña colada, the owner makes a carving out of a coconut for it! Also love their beautiful garden and it's atmosphere at night.
