One of the few upscale malls in Indonesia where you can find well knows designer brand and imported branded products. There also a wide variety of restaurants from different cuisine. Not just Indonesian. But if you are here visiting, you must have the local Indonesia cousin because they are very good with flavours. Just to keep in mind, their potion is quite small, so you might need to order more than a meal.

Luxury mall filled with shops and cafes. You can find anything branded and high class product. They have lot of parking space. The only minus is they don't have motorcycle parking so if you plan to go here with a bike, you have to park at the surrounding building like Grand Indonesia or offices building.

I'd say the place ages like fine wine. It still retains all the grace. It's never too crowded like the relatively new Grand Indonesia & it has maintained most of its prime tenant of luxurious brands.
However, aside from having stood the test of time, I honestly see not much distinctiveness. It's just another mall. The only interesting point for me was Ex. But it has lost its charm, I'd say.

Quiet mall. High branded stores, few floor quiet empty (no customer). I don't know why they put Sushi Tei restaurant in 3rd floor in the corner.

The cinema always have new movie premiere with local actors.

Restroom / Toilet is squeaky clean.

Not a lot of brands to offer from this mall. If you bored from exclusive brand, just walk to the next mall.

A very good shopping place. A lot of shops. It is located beside Grand Indonesia shopping mall. I found out there is a food court not easy to be found, Eat and Eat food court. Outside, there is a big sign stated as Creating Food Adventure. You need to change your money to a magnetic card before u can start purchase food. U can get your refund from the card from the same counter.

It's a shopping mall, among the many, it's one of the first high-class malls in Jakarta. Kind of, well, low visitors nowadays from my observation. But you can find well known brands and high quality products with premium prices here the food here is pretty great too~

Grand Indonesia, the name speaks for itself. All the shops you need are here! I can now easily find my way sinds I have been here a couple of time.. However first time you can get lost. If you cross the street you can also visit Plaza Indonesia, this mall has more exclusive brands.

It's a shopping mall with mostly high brands. However, the extension wing is cooler with younger spirit and some affordable brands' choices. Love the wide and spacious corridors and it has an exclusive praying room/mushala which is important for me.

Close to Grand Indonesia mall, make it easy if want to this mall. I only just cross the road and no need to parking the car again.
I often make this mall as a place of hangout with my lovely family at the weekend because it is not too big mall but complete and classy.

One of the first mall in Jakarta, among the top one, and still going strong. Strategicly place near Bundaran HI, make it easy to access. High end shop occupied majority of the mall, make it the destination for high end class and tourist.
Good food and entertainment also provided, mostly from floor 5 and up, from previous EX-mall.
It also joined with The plaza office tower.

A high end shopping mall in Jakarta. All the top brands are mostly available here. If you are looking for medium class products, don't come here. All the expensive stuffs here. Linked to the 5 star Grand Hyatt hotel. There's a cinema complex here as well. Accessing to this mall during workdays might be challenging as the traffic usually very bad.

This mall located in a nice area, at the center of Jakarta. There are lots of luxurious hotel in walking distance, and it is close to Grand Indonesia, and Thamrin City, another shopping place. The shopping mal is nice, mostly high end luxurious brand.

This mall is an upscale place with very helpful and friendly staffs will greet you, makes you feel comfy and appreciated. This mall have very clean area, toilet is cleaned right after visitor go. This place is the symbol of rich and the poor gap in Indonesia. Don't get me wrong, this mall is really nice. It led me forgot I'm still in Indonesia because outside the mall there are a few tall building and a lot of slums. Even though this mall is nice but it can't compete with mall in East Asia(China,Japan, Taiwan, Korea), but it's really good for Indonesia because they're still third world country.

Nice (I heard, the best) place in Jakarta. Pretty overpriced though. I am not saying that it's a great mall. For those who have been to Dubai and Qatar, it's just a hole in a wall. But the best that Jakarta has to offer. Security makes you feel like you are entering the embassy of united States though.

The nicest mall in the country. Clean. Not overly crowded or too many crappy stores. Every store is nice. I prefer it to the slightly lesser class Grand Indonesia. Also, this mall is better than any place in China.

Good place to shop high-quality, luxury items (though the prices are high too). You can easily find excellent food here, fine dinings, great cafes. There's also place for your kids to play. The car park can gets crowded pretty quickly though. Still worth it.

Upscale Jakarta shopping mall with plethora options of luxury brands. Affordable premium brands are also available.
My personal tip: Always check Zara in Plaza Indonesia since they usuall have better options compared to outlets in other malls, and they often offer discounts.

This is a must visit mall if you make your way to Central Jakarta. Probably the biggest shopping mall in Jakarta in my view and they have almost all the high end brands present here. There were discounts in most shops when I went there (Nov '16) probably due upcoming festive season. Also, I found that prices at Plaza Indonesia to be little lower than Grand Indonesia which is located just apposite the Plaza Indonesia. I strongly recommend that you visit both places as they are among the best places Jakarta can offer you. Great place to shop with your friends and family as they have plenty of eatery options too.

Plaza Indonesia is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious shopping mall in Jakarta, and in South East Asia. Although it is an old mall compared to the other, PI is still the king of upscale shopping mall in Indonesia. it keeps renovating to keep up the game with the newly built mall, mainly the Grand Indonesia beside it. PI is home to a lot of international upscale fashion brand. There are plethora of store, from Louis Vuitton Flagship Store to Bershka, from Ermenegildo Zegna to Zara.

If you are a shopaholic, definitely this place is a must-go !

A good and high class mall.
I like their idea to make the pedestrian entrance but the entrance is only 1 unlike the car's entrance. Moreover, there is no parking lot for motorcyle. I know that there are many parking lot for motorcycle those are made beside the river near plaza indonesia, but i think it's better to make the parking lot inside plaza indonesia because it's safer.
I know that this mall is for rich people in jakarta and that's why i think that they only provide the cars"s parking lot. (U know, people who can buy car is richer right).

For the mall, there are so many branded product. So, if you want to search for expensive but have a certain quality, i recommend this place for you.
But, if you want to eat or just hang out, i don't recommend this place for you. Because almost al of this place just sell branded product. There are only a few of restaurant here. And for game, there is a place to play, but it's limited to children(really really young children)

So my opinion is, if you want to buy branded things(such as: clothes, watches, bags), this place is one of the best place for you. But, if you go here for other reason, i think you will get bored here.

One of the most luxurious shopping mall in southeast Asia, you can find many branded stuff from famous designers such as chanel, Gucci, LV, kenzo, Alexander McQueen, Tod's, Dior, etc. But, it's really pricey and a little bit quiet. Foods are expensive. If you want to have fun-dining or lunch, you'd better go to the GI which is really affordable.

Upscale shopping mall in the central of Jakarta. Among the brands: There is this huge LV store as well as famous female shoes CL (the one with the red sole). Lunch and dinner will be crowded with people from nearby offices and/or destination goers. Coffee with buddies or Wine tasting amongst the Jakartan's and/or expatriates also happening in this place.

It feels overshadowed by its larger neighbor the Grand Indonesia Mall. This mall focuses almost exclusively on top end brands. Has a great wine place called Cork and Screw on the ground floor. The Basement floor has some good places to eat.
