  It's a shame. The West Bali National Park used to be a peaceful place, with only one hotel (The Menjangan) well integrated to the forest and respecting the natural environment. The Octagon together with the Plataran resort destroyed the untouched landscape with huge concrete buildings, with flags and banners.

  Stayed 3 nights during Feb 2016. One of greatest hidden, little-known, safe and mind-body-spirit rejuvenating experiences. Staff are too kind, too caring, too nice. Worth every moment to stay with your family or as partners. It's the absolute heart of Bali Jungle. Bring mosquito repellent. It's also very hot and humid. So morning and evening are best times. Mid-day can be too hot for some, hence retreat into your spacious air-conditioned villa. Food has incredible love and care put into it.
