Five-hour trip with car from Medan. Fifteen-minute trip with car from Silangit International Airport. Cozy homestay with hot water. Towel available but without toiletries. Famous coffee from Siborong-borong brewed here. Halal food served in the restaurant. Recommended for family!

Kedai kopi yg keren dan asyik di Tapanuli, dan yg lebih penting lagi kopinya mantap! Cake dan makanan lainnya juga enak dengan kualitas yg baik.
But sorry to say I am very disappointed with the ground coffee I bought last August. I bought 3 packs ground coffee grade B. The packaging was excellent but there's no more coffee taste when you drink it 😠😡.
I think I know what is inside the pouch. It shouldn't taste like that even for grade B.
But i can't tell it here.

This coffee shop is very nice. We can feel the cozy. The people there are very nice with everyone. It has delicious fried rice with andaliman (bataknese pepper), very aromatic and nice roasted coffee and.. this one is wonderful, it has rice fields view.

I think one of best homestay in North Tapanuli area. Beautiful paddy fields view, clean room and warmth staff. The spouse owner also very nice.

Great restaurant. The pineapple cookie, andaliman nasi goreng, coffee and avocado affrogado is a must try. That's all the food I ordered with my family here but everything is so good. Highly recommended!

We were exploring Toba lake and Piltik is definitely a treasure among so little good options in terms of cozy, clean, comfortable, modern accommodations around. The rooms are clean and nicely situated, with lovely rice field view at the back and lots of morning sun shine.
We had super delicious nasi goreng with Toba-minty pepper sambal.
The cafe is also nice, good coffee and yummy ombus-ombus (Batak style sweet delicacy wrapped in banana leaf--must try!)response / report this review -

A good place to hang out, in the middle of nowhere, Siborongborong area. Serving both local (by request) and national food. They got their coffee from local farmers which also sells to Starbucks. Coffee from this area are one of the world best coffee.
