  A hidden gem. Turn left BEFORE the sign 'Permandian Air Panas' in my photo. If you turn left AFTER the sign you will end up at the Lava Stone Hostel and Tirta Usadah which also has hot springs. Go about 20 meters up the dirt private road to the large parking lot. Entry is on the left, through the gate.
  Two very hot tiled pools and one cooler and shallower to suit children or the elderly. Clean and well scrubbed so no slippery moss. Popular with locals of an afternoon and evening after work. Cheap snacks (cup noodles, coffee etc.)
  Basic but clean squat toilet with mandi and dipper for water cleanup, large indoor dressing cubicles and outdoor showers.
  Tourists are charged a bit more than locals (IDR 50000 = AUD $5) but still much cheaper than at the large nearby springs catering to tourists.
  As my Indonesian improved, my entry price was dropped to IDR 25000 = AUD $2.50.
  Ladies dress conservatively here, with swim shorts and with their shoulders covered by a shirt.
