My favourite beach in Yogyakarta. The sea rock made by volcano eruption in the past has made an unique contours and pattern in the beach. This beach had a long coast line and spread out like a bow. In the east side you can find a pool around the rock fill by the big waves.

A beautiful place. The beach is clean and watery clear. On this beach there is a hidden pool surrounded by a cluster of corals with a depth of 1.5 meters. This beach is also known as a favorite snorkeling spot for tourists. Cool beach in the southern island of Java! The distance from the car park to the beach is quite close. There are plenty of dining and bathing areas around the parking area. The distance to be taken from downtown to this place is far away and the terrain is difficult but it will disappear when you get there.

Dirty beach, too crowded, but it has amazing views. White sand with various sizes: smooth and coarse, some of them are in the form of seashells and dead corals. If you want to explore the beach, prepare to bring your sandals/shoes. Walk with your bare feet will be difficult and hurting on the some parts of the beach.
Never worry about food and drink, there are many of food stall. Toilets and bathing booth available.

One of the best beaches I've visited in Jogja so far. Gave me private-beach feel. Less people, good environment, no signal for your phone (which is good to more focus in relaxing your body), waves, sands, sunset (highly recommend it to all of you), etc. In short, this place is soooo nice. Want to swim in "private" laguna? Come to this place.
Even though this place is a bit far from Jogja, but this place is worth your visit. Definitely will be back!

Big wave but look so calm and relaxing, theres a secret laguna that you can try at side of the beach. Best time to visit wedi ombo beach is at afternoon at 15:00 till sunset, because the tidal. Beware of the wave! Good for surfing, fishing, or just walking at the beach 🏝

its about 4 hours from jogjakarta city, you can use google maps as ur guide to go to there or with tour guide, this place offer a great view that you can`t forgotten, if you come there dont forget to come on the noon because in the morning this beach hasnt show the sand that mean the sea level still high.

the facilities include parking lot, musholla, toilet (not public) and food stall.

This is an absolutely stunning beach. The sunset is right on the water. There's swimming and surfing, and the food there is very cheap. I stayed in a cottage only 50 meters from the beach, and at night I had the beach all to myself. The local people there are so friendly. What an amazing experience. I will be back soon.
