i came here for fishing tournament.
the place is cool enough, and the people is very helpful.
the food taste is great with a cheap price.
and don't forget to buy a whole young coconut it's very refreshing.
in my case, i little disappointed with the tournament, because there is not a good regulation.

The road to the gate is barely damaged, On holiday the ticket for entry is slightly higher than the usual day, and to go to the beach you must have proper driving skill cos the way is uphill and vice versa, in the end, it's all worth it to go up here cause the scenery and the services is good.

Beautiful beach on South Jember, it has a very difficult terrain to access. But your difficulties will paid by it's beauty. Please note to watch your belonging, since there are so many packs of monkey and gibbon.

Infrastructure hardly need to improve. Fisherman boats placed under trees that occupied sitting place for visitors. Public bathroom managed by local peoples, you need to pay IDR 3.000 for shower. Spacious parking area. Hotel available. Entrance ticket IDR 17.500/pax. No public transport to reach the beach. Beautiful sceneries, boats available for rent to go around the nearest island. Swimable, not suit for surfing.

Papuma is an acronym for Pasir Putih and Malikan. Pasir Putih is White Sand and Malikan is rocks on the beach. White sand and rocks are on different sides of the peninsula. The white sand beach is on the left and the rocky beach is on the right of the peninsula. Between the two beaches there is a hill to see the Indian Ocean. You will see a cluster of beautiful small islands. The islands appear at sea level like cherries on a tart. All the beauty is called Tanjung Papuma.

Relatively good for average Indonesian southern beach. Big (and quite dangerous) waves & white sand. Lots of seafood sellers (don't ask for the cleanliness).
Scattered and narrow parking lots, narrow roads.
There are some toilets here and there (make sure to ask for them first from the locals/the parking attendands).
Don't go at peak season cause it will be very crowded.

Papuma Beach is one of the most beautiful beach in jember city. There are many photo spot and a place to relax that soothing your mind. This beach has good environmental conditions and sustainable. But, this time the beach is started there is garbage - rubbish which ruined the atmosphere on the beach.

One of the best beach in south area. Too many good spot for pictures. The food around the area is amazing, all the "ikan bakar" is recommended. There's also a camping ground and a small hotel for family or friends.

Just another beautiful place in East Java. Crystal clear water, smooth sands and great foods, what else do we need? A small heaven on Earth.
Can't afford to missed this place.
