Paradise in Yogyakarta. I love this beach because of the white sands and blue ocean. Go to Gunungkidul and don't forget to visit Pantai Sundak!

Perfect place, but You have to respect the religion, so You have to wear trousers and t shirt in the water, that's why I gave only 4 star.

Fourteen minutes head east from Kukup beach. It's about 8.4 kilometres by car with narrow tarmac road and cakareous vegetation on the sides like cassava (Manihot utilissima), peanuts (Arachis hypogea), and ocassioanlly sugar cane.

You can find a lot of bungalow here. Better if you can rent for a bungalow in the top of hill so you can see the sunrise directly. You should estimate the weather, sunrise could not be seen when cloudy or rainy.

It is a new beach in Yogyakarta, for tourist destination I mean. The beach is more sloping than other beaches around. It is very clean, good people and sellers there, also there are fresh fish to eat there. It is a good beach to go when you come to Yogyakarta.

This place always bring back the memories of collecting the mudskipper for our research few years ago. Nice place with well preserved nature where you can play with small fishes and even starfish once your foot step into the water.

Most important thing why I love this beach is because this is the only beach that provide a (maintained) mosque.

It is not only waves that you can enjoy when you go Sundak Beach, but also historical evidences and the existing fortune; for example, the coral cave where a dog fight a sea urchin. Sundak Beach does not only have enchanting natural view but it also keeps story. The name Sundak turns to experience evolution of which evidences can be traced geologically.
