The view it's beauty. But rubbish everywhere
Very appreciate the way all workers made the traditional Pinisi boats by hand.
The beach was nice blue color & fresh water. We choosed local restaurant in the middle of the way. Then lay on the white sand under coconut shadow. Until late afternoon, the water level went far away, the wide sand appears. It is very nice to play football or run. I do prefer here more than the Tanjung Bira.
The only thing is that you will see a mess of plastic along the beach. Please clean it to keep local own living source.
The beach is nearly not existent and extremely trashed. Not the western taste, not suitable for swimming.
But setting under coconut palms is fairly nice.
Shipyard building large wooden ships called penisi is very impressive. You can just walk in.
This is the spot if you want to see how they build pinisi traditionally. The ship was humongous.
Its very nice place..cool.. thanks god i found this place..
Love it. White sand. Near traditional wood ship builder
If you are in southern Sulawesi, don't miss out on this opportunity to watch the most skilled wooden boat builders of Indonesia do their magic. It's free and they will happily show you their work, if you are brave enough, and ignore the safety concerns, you can even climb the unfinished phinisi schooners on the beach, just don't interfere with their work and ask politely :-)
