This place and the beach is a place to remind me about how sweet memories ever i had since I was kid
Untill now this beach still remain as good as it was.. luckily more public facility have been added to support the visitors..

The beach quite small in that area. But we still enjoying it. When we got there, it was raining softly. It was good to have your family for swimming and sight seeing. But there not much bathroom to have a wash after swimming in the see. The scenery also beautiful there.

The locals going in Padang don't go to Padang Beachthey go here!
It's locally slated as a "dating spot" (weirded out the angkot driver that there were three of us) & costs IDR 10,000 to enter. The angkot to this spot is the blue one from SPR in Kota Padang (ask around for Taman Nirwana). The journey here was through the coastal route & very scenic. The beach itself has plenty of facilities (food, toilets, & sitting spotssome which you need to pay for), although the beach itself is a bit dirty & doesn't extend to the sea very much. OK for a stop, but the ones further south (Teluk Bayur, Air Manis) might be a better option.response / report this review -
