Once I got off the bus, I could see the sea and feel the breeze. It was amazing. There are so many sellers of souvenirs. Most of them are women and children. The way of offering things they sell is so intense. They don't take any no. The children also beg for money. They pretend to offer help taking photos. So it is better to be clear and direct from the beginning if we don't buy anything. The place is great panoramic but for those who need to enjoy by oneselves, KUTA Beach Mandalika is too crowded with street sellers.

Perfect for sunset at the end of the beach - I've never seen a anything like that - low tight, green water (due to the reflection of the trees) and pink sky.

    Main beach for Kuta town.
    Nice scenery.
Water seems ok - didn't swim here.
Quite a lot of local vendors trying to sell their wares that we decided to leave.

It's a pretty beach, but there are other more spectacular, beautiful and quieter beaches a short motorcycle ride away. Worth a visit or a great place to base yourself to explore South Lombok which as a whole is a fantastic holiday destination. I was in the area for around 4 days and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

I love this beach. White sand, beautiful view, the sea and the sky are blue. The goverment just renovated this area to make it better for public. Around the beach, there are several cafe and gift shop. Most of them are traditional kiosk. Unfortunately, when I took these picture, it was a gloomy day. But when it was a sunny day, everything just perfect.

One of my favourite place in Lombok. I know there is a lot of kids selling bracelet and kinda sadden and annoying at the same time but the beauty of this spot in the morning is just amazing. I went to this spot few times in the morning just to have a morning walk, and it was just one of the best lombok's experience.

Very new beautiful beach in Lombok..
Live this one than Senggigi smooth sand
Nov17, there is an on-going construction there.

Unfortunately, the local build the stalls near the beach.. so you might lost its beauty spot for picture.

Local government should take this seriously otherwise the opportunity of this beautiful beach will lost because lots of garbage

    Please save the beach

white sand beach, big rocks.. beautiful! but government is currently developing this area so you will see a tractor and workers finishing the road. It is only temporary and after is done, Kuta area will be more enjoyable.

As we like quiet and authentic places we were not in the good place here. The beach looks good though. But crowded and overpriced.
Tourist Indonesian food is offered (non spicy and plain). Also they are so many other beaches around to explore and enjoy !

This beach is very beautiful..it is more like a bay..with white sand, turquoise water, and some rock.
We can swim in the water, the water isn't hot even in the bright daylight.
There are some cafe with rather high price. There also has Alfamart for cheaper food for backpackers.

    Lovely beach, untouched by far.
Coconut there sells for 15k idr which is still a reasonable price.
The sand is rather special your feet will sink through it when you are at the shore line because the sand are round and rough. But the sand closer to the land are more fine.

Very beautiful beach, but the scamming and hawking people/kids destroy what would otherwise be a great and relaxing atmosphere. Construction further down the beach prohibit a nice long walk along the beach.

There is a ton of trash dumped on the north end of the beach where the fishing boats are, though they have cleaned up the east end of the beach. The new KUTA BEACH sign is an eyesore - the beach was more natural three years ago. The scenery is stunning. Kuta should take care and do something about trash which also fringes the high tide line on other beaches in Lombok such as Tanjung Ann.

All I can say is wow! It is a gorgeous beach with white sand and views to stun! Though a few hagglers on the beach they are not hugely annoying. The water is a little cloudy from the large waves that break off shore and make for good surfing. But it makes for a very peaceful beach with little to no waves that break at the shore. There are plenty of places to stay and eat all are inexpensive

I had high expectations for Kuta lombok The surfing is ok, the diving is ok. The dogs are many, the rubbish is everywhere, the locals are always selling. There is enough tourism to ensure there are Western items on menus, and you will be pestered whenever, and wherever you stop. The massive developments starting atm will turn this place into another nusa dua. surrounding beaches are accessible by paying a 10,000 entrance/ parking fee each. There are some awesome views and beaches around, but this is not an untouched paradise.

The place is quite picturesque and the sand is a bit rocky - not white fine sands like in Mawun Beach.

They have three swings. My only problem is that there are too many wild dogs. If they are not barking I suppose it's okay but they bark like hell - or maybe they just hate me.

A little littering control will do no harm.

Kuta Beach is clearly not one of the prime beaches in the south. Although it is next to the town, it is lacking all infrastructure. Very little shade, no beach chairs, no food stalls, etc. Also no waves at the beach, as the surf break is at the entrance of the bay. So good for an evening swim, but you will for sure prefer the other famous beaches nearby.

Nice beach but way too many people selling stuff! Do yourself a favor and rent a stand up paddleboard if you go there. That way you get to be in the water all day without the annoying parts. The waves are good if you get away from the shore (don't worry it's not so deep)!!
