Originally booked at another hotel across the road that didn't quite work out. We were given an a zing deal with our room as the hotel was half empty. Cannot begin the describe what an amazing facilities this hotel had. Great selection of restaurants with three major pools and the beach was a 1 minute walk .fantastic find

Love the ambience very much. I just stay at this hotel for two days & not going anywhere because I feel so cozy with the atmosphere of this hotel. The room is very spacious & so Bali. The pool is everywhere. I can choose where to swim easily. The infinity pool with beach scenery is my fave. Wish to come back again.

I have stayed here for a number of years. The resort has continually developed their facilities and their staff. I am currently in one of their refurbished cottages. The improvements again are excellent. Catering for a variety of needs this establishment is a haven of peace and serenity. Just outside the grounds you can enjoy the real Bali. Sunsets and cool breezes are enjoyed from with in this paradise

Beautiful place. Very big, lots of different areas to relax. 4 swimming pools, 2 with swim up bars. The upstairs infinity edge pool is high roller. Happy hour there is a must 🙂 There's a handful of bars within a 5 minute walk. I'm already planning a return trip and we're still here for another 2 nights. Not cheap, but you have to pay for quality.

Absolutely amazing place, if you're after a holiday at Bali and you're not much into going out and prefer to stay at your hotel this place is hard to beat. It has everything you need. 4 swimming pools, 1 pool also serves as a night club at night time. Foods are amazing, service is impeccable, stuff if very very friendly, it's right next to the beach, 1 minute walk to shops etc. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality get away

So far it's been awesome. Exceeded my expectations, and I'm typically a bit cynical of resorts. The multiple pools are great and are interesting to explore. Perfect for kids.

Customer Service for this property is absolutely terrible. As most are aware Mt Agung is incredibly active and expected to erupt soon (October 2017). They anticipate this to have lots of ash closing the airport on Bali an ruining the air quality. I had planned a trip for the end of this month (October 2017) and received many very understanding people with airlines and other hotels for the trip. The only inhumane hotel was this one. I mean who is so greedy that they will not issue a refund for an active volcano?! You'd think that airlines would be the stingy ones - not so. I was able to change my international flight in and local South East Asia flight out with no issues for a small $50 fee.
If you're looking for a nice property who gives zero f***s about their customers this is your hotel.

Padma has created an island of warm comfort between a bustling shopping area and a busy beach. Stepping into Padma, one is immediately embraced by friendly staff, sculpted gardens, flowering trees, and handsome walks leading to one of the five pools and a tennis court. Particularly for families, Padma is great - with two children's pools hosting three slides and a great set of activities attended by warm and friendly staff.

Great facilities and looks great. Only negative was offered an upgrade which we took, to get a better room and to get access to the garden club. Room was nice but I think they need to re-look at the garden club. It's great to get free cocktails but it's pointless sitting in the room to drink. Would be better next to the pool.

The Padma is a beautiful experience. We have been 5 times over 10 years and it has always been wonderful. The people are delightful, polite and provide great service. Each room or villa we have tried has been great. A variety of dining options with something for everyone. Heaps of benefits like the garden club - great value! Entertainment has always been authentic and relaxing. Beautiful gardens, lovely national artwork and stunning pools.

We stayed here for 2 nights. This is the only hotel in Bali we've stayed in with all around good food. From room service to any outlets all amazing. We would come back just to eat here. The room also quite modern and friendly staff. Worth a try if you in the hood!

Great resort and exceptional staff. The food was awesome. Breakfast was varied, extensive and yummy. The room was clean and beautiful. The 24 hour room service is a relief. The pools are one of cleanest and prettiest I have seen. The kids centre is perfect for families. The staff are courteous and helpful throughout the resort no matter whatever the time it was. We barely left the resort.

“Best Honeymoon Holiday Resort on the Beach in Bali”
The location of the Padma Resort in Legian is in the quieter side of town (we would never stay in the Kuta area), although whilst Kuta does have more action including nightlife, we have heard from various friends and a past experience, that Kuta is far more hectic and can sometimes be a lot scarier, particularly if you are taking younger children on your holiday. We prefer the Legian area as there are heaps of places to eat in Legian near the Padma Resort and it’s central to everything around. In our opinion – you won't regret staying here!

We stayed our last 4 nights in the Padma Legian Resort in early March and prior to this also at the Padma Ubud Resort for 4 nights as part of a package deal. The Legian Resort is very beautiful to say the least. We were upgraded to one of the Premier Deluxe Villas with a massive king size plus bed and all the breakfasts are included in these amazing deals they have running and the variety of choice on offer is absolutely FANTASTIC!

The breakfasts have everything you could imagine, including a multitude of Asian flavours, a huge selection of freshly squeezed juices and a full western buffet breakfast spread. An Indonesian cook is also available to cook your Indonesian stir fry breakfast, or even your eggs exactly the way you like them!

This was part of our Bali honeymoon and we wanted one of the better 5-star resorts that still has much of the Balinese architecture and feel to it. Legian Padma offered all of this, plus so much more. The five different pools were all fantastic and so were all of the different pool bars and food outlets around this resort. The staff were all absolutely amazing and certainly value-added to the memorable experience of our fantastic holiday in Bali.

The tropical gardens around the resort grounds were also amazing and very well maintained. The pool area’s are all designed for children and families and they also have one pool exclusively for adults only, all with very nice swim-up bar areas. The resort staff were all very friendly and helpful and the language barrier never really seemed to exist, as most staff spoke pretty good broken English.

At each of the Padma Resorts, they always supplied us with 4 bottles of drinking water each and every day, so we welcomed that, so neither of us got sick nor had any signs of the dreaded ‘Bali Belly’ that we hear so much of. The deluxe villas are also situated in a well designed way where you feel like you have a lot of privacy and of course they are all surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens.

If you want an experience that you will always both remember and treasure, then try the Padma Resort’s package deal with their Legian and Padma Resorts – so try them both, we did, and we loved them both. Our suggestion is 3 or 4 nights in Padma Ubud, then the rest of your stay at the Padma Legian.

At the Padma Resort you are located right on the beach in the middle of the town, and you can grab a local taxi to get to all the action and the adventure of the nightlife and the amazing local bars, restaurants and the crazy hectic shopping experiences that the Legian area has to offer.

Of course, like anything else, with this hotel you might have to pay a little more for it, but it was well worth it. We WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Padma Legian Resort as this was an amazing Bali honeymoon experience!!! by Andrew & Jenny

For a family trip away this is an awesome resort. Plenty of kids activities (although not necessarily well reflected in timetables) and the pools are fantastic. Brekkie is an absolute treat and casual meals (generally lunches around the pool) are pretty good value. Be warned, evening meals are generaly set buffets at around AU$32 p/p. Having said that, there are so many great eateries within walking distance you won't need to eat in. This is a five star resort. You'll generally pay accordingly. Padma has recently undergone a big renovation - it's not finished yet! But we couldn't recommend it highly enough and would return without hesitation.

Good resort, super friendly staff. Some parts are a little outdated and lack proper maintenance. Packed with Aussie families in their Bintang shirts and chubby chicks in too tight hot pants. The place is huge and has several pools, so easy to hide here and there. Bit too pricey though Aussie fams will like it, euro couples should look for something else. The breakfast choice is crazy, everything you can imagine. And some peeps try it all! All kids have braided hair too, super wicked.

Great resort, excellent facilities and activities, clean spacious. Superb breakfast selection. Great location for shopping and beach. Unfortunately we required the Dr, Ambulance and hospital but the Resort were fabulous in assisting and accompanying us and then provided additional services to help us manage. Hotel Manager and other staff were brilliant - we were glad to been staying at Padma when this unfortunate incident occurred.

The pools and the grounds are stunningly beautiful. It's really big, but this serves more to give you privacy than to overwhelm you. It's next to the beach, which means incredible sunsets every night, but it's detached with adequate security so you don't have the kuta strays all in your business. Excellent restaurant with interesting, diverse buffet options. It's a little far from touristy things, but that's not all bad. Traffic is crazy in this part of Bali, so expect long taxi trips to the airport (an hour or so) and to anything touristy.

It's a really nice hotel. Huge gardens, several pools, big breakfast selection.
It's quite popular with Australian families with several young kids. There's a dedicated kids pool, but it seems all the kids play in the lagoon pool that is open to all.
Fortunately the infinity pool is only open to 18+ guests. A great place to relax.
The breakfast buffet is huge. Lots of Asian and western options. Please avoid 9:30am to 10am. It's so crowded that the staff clears and reassigned our table while getting a new plate (full cup of coffee and glass of juice still on the table!).

There are several theme restaurants and "The Deli". The latter is a small, but nice bistro with mostly western and some Asian food options. The homemade iced tea is amazing.
They also show AFL and other sports here on a big screen.

The rooms were cleaned well every morning. They also came in, in the afternoon, to close the curtains.
The "S.K.A.I." beach club has very cold beer and a DJ every night. Awesome!

Overall a good resort. I recommend it for families with kids and couples. Single travellers might feel a bit bored.
