Its just so impossible to get a driving license..the test for practicing how to drive a motorcycle is unbelievableits just impossible

Extending driving license a month ago. It need 4 hours to completed it. And what is really confusing, the officers took my phone and delete pictures on my phone. I don't know (not sure too) if in this office there's prohibition of taking pictures.

No Chance of getting a Tourist driver Licence anymore.
We wanted to get a motorbike license for our 20 days stay in Indonesia, because we heard that the police around Kuta pulls out tourists on bikes quite frequently.
As we arrived there by Uber ( it was luckily a third of the price of a taxi - also depending on what time of the day), we were told that besides the preparation we had, we also need:
-Medical check (not specified - mainly to leave money at the hospital)
-Passport and Country specified driver Licence
-passport photo.
Maybe we didn't have any luck with the officer there but due to bullet point No. 1 there was no chance of getting a license there.response / report this review -

They still do tourist licences here (but you can go to any large police office around Bali). Make sure to do it in the morning from Monday to Saturday. The police officer I spoke to was very helpful by telling me this information.

At the new place, its still took a long long long time to extended your driving license, so many registration counter empty, only officer standby but didn't call the queued number. There's 5 registration counter & 5 officer but only 2 registration counter & 2 officer work. The rest 3 only chit chat & play mobile phone, eat and ignoring all the citizen that already wait from morning to get the driving license. The service is very poor, considering most of the citizen have activities or work to do beside waiting & queuing for hours.

Don't bother about a motorbike licence. Government has changed the rules again. They won't issue without a working visa or retirement visa :(

Terrible experience. Took a cab the driver threatened to kill us. The police was of no help. The cop said I can't help.
