this is a sacred and important tomb complex for the people of Gumelem. There are Islamic preachers buried here. The location is at the top of the hill with the first climb which is quite energy consuming.
Ki Ageng Giring himself was a propagator of Islam from the Mataram Kingdom who traveled to Gumelem District (Banjarnegara region).

It is said that around Gumelem Village, he died. By the students, the coffin of Ki Ageng Giring was to be taken to Gunung Kidul (Mataram region) but when it arrived at Bukit Ilangan, the coffin could not be lifted by the students and it sank deeper. On this occasion, the students then buried the body in Bukit Ilangan. Now the tomb of Ki Ageng Giring can still be found at the top of Bukit Ilangan, Gumelem Village.
