  When we're crossing the Toba Lake from Parapat Sumatera Island to the Samosir island, them we will straight into this port. It's not a massive one but still hectic in a cause. Tomok port is close to the other tourist destination alongside Samosir offshore. Please welcome to the Old Toba!

  At this small port, the line of cars is so long that it goes far beyond the gate. You have to line up for hours before departure time. Fortunately, there are some traditional restaurants where you can have lunch while waiting for the ferry.

  They should seriously consider developing the jetty into a sight seeing attractions with rides on the lake to capitalise on the sprawling mesmerising landscaping. The ferry could use a sight seeing deck too as the scene from Perapat to Lake Toba was simply breathtaking.

  Good ferry. For IDR 120k you can cross the lake. It's advisable to be there 1 hour before departure to make sure you can catch the ferry. It takes about 45 minutes to cross.

  No public toilet available. If u wanna pee, buy a bottle of mineral water at nearby shops and use their toilet
