The only thing I know about this place is that they have great coffee! And judging from the impressive amount of laptops present they must also have a pretty decent wifi.

Did an Open Water Course at Ocean's 5 and it was great. Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The instructors were very professional; they gave clear explanations, were patient and fun to hang out with to boot!

Beautiful dive resort that could easily pass off as a standard resort itself. Lovely, polite and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. If you are looking for a chilled out environment with a 5 star PADI dive centre that is just in front of the harbour, look no further.

We stayed in the family bungalow and it was amazing! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed for our 4 nights there. Breakfast was nice but a little small but well worth it (free). Highly recommend this place

Great location, operation and staff! We had a really good time staying here and diving. Environmentally conscious with free water refill, coffee and tea. Yummy breakfast at the cafe next door. Close to the peir and the main street. A really awesome experience.

Best dive resort I have been to. I only had the opportunity of using the diving facilities. I did my PADI Rescue Divers course. Sandra was my instructor and I would recommend asking for her. She was so patient throughout the whole course. She made sure not to skip any skill and attempted to go over the skills to improve bring attention to small details. All the other staff were also very kind and helpful. Having spent a week diving with them, it was an excellent experience. It so happened that I was their 10,000th student so that was pretty cool.

I did my PADI Open Water and then Advanced and Nitrox with Oceans 5. I have been diving with them on each of my 6 visits over the last 4 years. I have about 60 dives with them. They are simply brilliant.. great instructors and great local dive guides who are super good at finding the unusual underwater life. Sander the owner has created a really special place and I've met so many great people here. They are very professional with good procedures and very safety minded. The equipment is also very good quality. I have dived in other places with other dive shops but none have been as good or professional as Oceans 5. When I come back to the Gilis I will always dive with Oceans 5. I have no affiliation apart from being a super satisfied customer and have made many friends over the last 4 years 😁

Was told to make Gili islands a part of my Bali trip. To be honest not impressed. It really shouldn't be that stressful getting to a place. I found it to be dirty and the standard level of accommodation isn't that great. A map of the island would be useful especially if you don't have access to Internet.
Scenery is stunning and visitors are friendly but for me personally I couldn't wait to get back to Bali, my resort even if I do have to ensure a 5 hour trip home!!response / report this review -

Just joined three dives in four days with Ocean 5, two of them with Sergio. I can absolutely recommend diving with Ocean 5. Everyone is so friendly and if I would stay longer on Gili Air I would definitely dive more often with Ocean 5. Sergio and Gio were awesome as instructors and thanks to both of them its definitely not going to be my last dive.
If you want to learn how to dive or just have some "first breaths underwater" go there! So much better than everything I saw on Gili Trawangan!

We hand a very nice day doing the into dive with the resort. It started in the morning with some theory and then intro in the pool. In the afternoon they took as to a reef. My 11 year old son was excellently supported during the dive.
To bridge the wait we could use the resort facilities which was great.response / report this review -

Really nice accomodation with great pool, also the staff at the breakfast was very nice, but the wifi was really bad (had to do some work - was impossible) and the service is not really good for that price (to give 1 example: we went snorkelling while a friend took a diving lesson, when we came back and waited for our friend, we were not allowed to have a towel and had to go home wet, even if we booked the accomodation the next day)

I had a pleasant experience during my time at Oceans 5. The staff were extremely helpful and they had very high training standards. The location's right next to the harbour, couldn't be more convenient.

This place is perfect place when you visit gili air. Because the resort in front of harbour. They have diving resort for who want to dive. I really enjoy this place.

Nice and skilled workers. Focus on safety - oxygen on every diving trip. However, the "fixed rate" 490k IDR became almost 540k when they added tax (around 30k) and extra 5% charge when paying by credit card. I'm not so happy having to pay more than was previously agreed.
