Took the 3 days and 2 nights tour. It was an amazing experience for me. The boat trip on our way to 3 orang utan feeding station was unlike any other experience, it was pretty serene and peaceful. The orang utan feeding experience was great too, I get to see them real close in their natural habitat.
During the trip, there was no cell service which force me to be fully engage in the nature and its surroundings.
Vonny was our guide, he was friendly, informative in answering our questions about orang utan, the forrest and dayak cultures. He knows the right balance of giving us space to enjoy the nature during the boat ride.
Fully recommend the experience if you are looking for a digital detox and connect with nature.response / report this review -

Most amazing tour ever. We did the 3 days 2 nights orangutan tour and it’s one of my best memories after 1 month in Indonesia. The klotok was super comfy - nice bed, toilet and facilities (even a shower). The crew were friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfy. Each time we came back to the boat after a visit to a feeding station/hike, the crew provided us with fresh wet towels and a snack. The guide Eddy was great. Perfect balance of talking and telling us about the wildlife, and letting us relax by ourselves. Thank you so much! The food was EXCELLENT, thank you chef! We eat vegetarian which was no problem. And the communication with them the weeks before was 10/10, they always replied fast and gave us good information. Would definitely recommend to go on the tour with Varada!

The one day speed boat tour we did was great- with two guests I did not realize that it would be a private tour which was a nice surprise! Our guide and boat driver were extremely knowledgeable and helpful all day, and spotted lots of wildlife along the way. Varada also accommodated our request to have a vegetarian lunch and our driver stopped at a gift shop on our way home upon request. Truly magical experience, and reasonable price compared to other options! One thing to note- based off of what our guide shared you are much more likely to see orangutans at the feeding posts during the dry season (as there is less food available in the jungle) however you are more likely to wild orangutans along the river in the rainy season as flowers and fruit is more plentiful so they will not always come to the feeding platforms.

We had amazing tour time with this company. We booked tour so easy, payments online were very helpful. Boat was clean, they changed linen every day, food was very awesome delicious.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful, and Orangutan is so cute. We met a dominan male at first and second camp. Very recommended!!!!!response / report this review -

Tanjung Putting National Park is a protected wildlife habitat, there are bekantan, monkeys, orangutans. Despite having to travel a pretty tiring, but the results did not disappoint. I feel very happy when I am there, I can see directly the animals that are there. I am very proud to be an indonesi citizen precisely in central kalimantan. so, i love Tanjung Puting National Park.

In the forest more calm, peace, silent and comfortable, We met new friends from the boat (crew) . We met Orang Utans, it was very fun. Our tour guide almost knows everything about jungle and animal.

Three days 2 nights Orangutan Tour with Varada Borneo Tour was an awesome experience! Our guide; Edy knows and able to answer a thousand of question from us. Although it's a really tough path, our guide gave us the time to stop and appreciate the surroundings. Idah the cook was the responsible for cooking the meals and she has a great touch in the kitchen. Boat is Big enough for us but we were choosing to stay at Rimba Lodge because we are old, we think to stay on boat is hard for us to go to the toilet during at night. We get to see the jungle in its finest beauty.
Only good words about this Tour; Everything was perfectly organized and Wati's team took great care of all of us! Would highly recommend Edy,Idah and Wati as the manager+team.
